I understand that some people like cutscenes. However, I find them tedious. I also find that the quest text is horribly annoying to get through. Please have a button to make all text skippable with a single button (like how cutscenes can be skipped, which is also too many button presses).
It's especially annoying having to wait for animations that have no sound to finish, or having to click through sometimes over a dozen lines of dialogue just to get my quest accepted.
All the final fantasy I have played are like that and if it really bothers you try some other game. As for me this is what I wanted when I bought the game a rich story even in quest.
I'm sorry, but what were you expecting? This is a Final Fantasy title, exactly as it says on the box or pretty much anywhere the game is mentioned. This is a MMOJRPG; for all intents and purposes it's an RPG, and it's text-heavy. Why should it ever bother to cater to you?
With all due respect, the smart consumer knows what they buy before they buy it. This is Final Fantasy, not Call of Duty. I understand you want a much more gameplay-oriented videogame, and I can respect that. That said, if it's too much for you to handle, maybe this game just isn't for you, and never was to begin with.
