Flying combat text-experience text gone

Whenever I equip Drg soul crystal, flying combat texts stop providing me with exp info.
Not sure if this is intended (if it is intended then it should be fixed) so I'm reporting it as a bug here.

In-game time: n/a
Area and coordinates: anywhere
Steps:
1. Flying combat texts show everything including exp gained after battle
2. I equip dragoon soul crystal
3. Flying combat texts stop showing exp gained after battle
