Duty Finder waiting-time xp boost idea
I'll try not to take ages explaining, but basically I wondered about an idea that gave you an xp boost in the dungeon you're queuing for that is somehow proportional or correlates to how long you did wait for.
Let's say you queued for 30 mins:
Idea 1) When you enter you get a boost of +30% xp (for the 30 mins queued) that could maybe wear off after a threshold is met (like a rested xp bonus)
Idea 2) When you enter you get a smaller, flat/static boost that persists for the entire duration of the run which would maybe kick in after having queued for at least 10+ mins or so
Or maybe some mix or variation of both of those ideas. Idea 1 might mean a looot of xp, so maybe it's unrealistic. Anyway, as healers and tanks (especially) get groups way more quickly than damage roles, this might help even up the gap a bit in terms of time/xp ratio that two ppl would be putting into a queue.
Just to be absolutely clear - this would apply to anyone, not just DPS classes. :o As a tank you might still queue for 20 mins on a very quiet day at a very unusual time in terms of server's prime-time.
I realise at lvl 50 xp becomes a non-issue, so I hadn't really thought about that side of it. Maybe it isn't even really an issue at 50. Or if it is, maybe a little % increase in tomestones received - but I think this is crossing the line of what is probably fair. So perhaps the idea should just be for the purposes of xp and leveling.
Any thoughts or more ideas are welcome. :D Sorry if it's already been suggested before!
