[VIDEO] Warrior tanking HM Titan: let's examine the pro and cons of the war tank

so i was looking a video on how a warrior tank would handle tanking storymode titan and i found this

so i was wondering, could the more experience war tanks tell me what did the player in that video do well and poorly in that HM?

One thing he did Well was that he mitigated his damage really well with his self heals, even if the heals weren't all that great (1400 Inner Beast with a Berserk? What is this madness?). He really could have used Bloodbath better, by stacking it with Vengeance for Twice the self heals.

I don't see Internal Release or Featherfoot on his bar so maybe he doesn't have PGL crossclass skills?

Big mistake, before that first Mountain Buster he used his Thrill of Battle too early. Almost cost him the run right there. 120 HP is nowhere to be after mountain buster.

Other than that, grats on Win. ^_^

His HP was fine... but I remember seeing a Triple Regen cast. That... needs some adjustment. A lot of overhealing was happening.

With 6462hp, he don't need three healers.

Those healers really wanted him to die on the first Table Flip. lmao

He didn't really manage his aggro well in the start which could have lead to some trouble in phase 3 (as shown in the heart phase when the BRD let loose). He let Unchained pop a bit early (should wait 'til hes moving toward you to get the most out of it). He got a bit carried by his healers but his use of cooldowns was mostly on point and he made proper use of Inner Beast.

He also just kept eating bombs to the face... which isn't something you should do.

This can be done with 2 healers, it's just more of a strain on their MP as opposed to PLD tanking it. Unless, of course, it's Relic healers. :B

I have my PLD up to like 3 pieces of darklight and a bunch of AK armor with Ifrit's weap...but that Video makes me want to play a WAR super bad lol.

Bad Berserk timing - Twice he was sitting there early in the fight pacified because he used berserk too early or too late - once he got ~3 seconds out of it before the jump and spent 5 seconds after he came down pacified when enmity was very close. Also he didn't have Berserk up to stack with Unchained in the heart phase.

Poor rotation - He's using a BB -> SE -> BB -> SE rotation and he isn't using Fracture in it. Because of this his enmity lead is not as large as it should be and his DPS is lower than it could be.

He made no effort to avoid the bombs, even though it wasn't absolutely necessary, it's a nice thing to do for your healers. Plus it meant he had to blow inner beast after a rock buster instead of saving it for after table flip.

Relied on 3 healers.

your suppose to thrill before a mountain buster, and/or IB immediately after, i didnt notice either.
you can also space out foresight,feather,convalescene to use before mountain busters.
you can easily learn when mountain busters are coming by watching videos.
also u wanna use IB after eating a bomb to help healers top u off for an incoming mountain buster
