SMN and SCH coexisting...

Hello all!
I need some help and some advice on the best course of action to take please. I hope this is the correct place in posting this, if not maybe a mod. can move it later. Sorry in advance.

I'm sort of at a cross roads here, when it comes to SMN and SCH. I've enjoyed Arcanist since I started to first play it. First off, I never played a DoT class before, since my primary MMO I ever played was FFXI and SMN was nothing like this, or any other pet class on there. Sorry got off subject for a second lol...

Ok Summoner is my main Job. I have it's full DL set, INT+30 with the stat bonus, and relic weapon made. How ever.... Scholar is my 2nd. I love SCH so much!!! I enjoy non-traditional mages over traditional ones in the FF verse. Which is why my heart goes out to SMN,SCH,BLU and RDM(I consider this one non-traditional.) So saying "Just play WHM!" isn't going to make me happy lol and would defeat the purpose of me ever wanting to heal, since... why would you want to play a game you aren't having fun or happy with?

I've yet to find this any where, so I'm asking you community... how do I go about this so I can endgame both SMN and SCH? Do I truly just have to farm every day GC seals to save up so I can switch back and forth? Is this what Yoshi-P and the Devs really wanted us to do? I just find it very stress inducing and hard to believe that "farming" every so often (not currency) but "seals" just to play the 2 jobs I love the most, just to be a little disheartening. So please, anyone that has done this, knows a way around this? What are the prime stats for these two jobs endgame? for TitanHM? Coils? I'm on Coils atm with my FC we haven't started just yet, but going to this weekend or next week. Any ways share your experience here with me, any ideas, advice, or pointers would be great!

The loss of 30 MND isn't that big of a deal. Does it make a difference to your cures? Sure it does, but the difference is minor and won't hurt you at all. I play SCH a bit with my main being SMN as well. Don't bother with the respec scroll, it's not worth it unless you absolutely screwed up your stat allocation. You can play SCH just fine without the additional 30 MND.

are u going to change from SMN to SCH all the time in coil? i guess not , u will go as SMN and somedays as sch? then farming seals every X days or so wont be bad.

Losing 15-30 stats will translate in lower dps and lower healing. If your FC are ok with that, that is your/their 'problem'.
Focus on One, since the stats are only part of the problem. The other part is the relic+1 wep, and the lv 90 gear. You will not have enough myth tomes for 2 jobs.

Well let me clear something up real quick, it's very highly unlikely I'll go as SCH in coils. I was more concerned about TitanHM as SCH to be honest. Unless our resident SCH decides he wants to go as BRD instead(which I doubt he will, at least in Coils), then I'm definitely 99.9% SMN all the way in Coils lol.

@Ardan: That's how my attitude was about it all in the beginning till I kept thinking about Titan and getting my relic, but I guess spending 20k seals on 2 GC scrolls won't hurt me too badly on "play time" to get through Titan at least.

@gig_frana: Well I haven't seen any thing yet on SMN and INT and how badly it is effected w/o the full 30 into it. But SMN is my main and the INT will stay there for the most part during my play time. I don't expect to have full Relic+1 and Relic armor any time soon on both jobs, but it's not "impossible" to have a full set and +1's on both never lol, someday I will, will just take a lot of farming! And Dedication!

I was rolling with 15int 15mnd for quite awhile because I was on SCH alot but settled on SMN main and rerolled full INT.
No points in mnd is fine for sch if you are going to just use it for AK farming to cap your weekly myth tomes and queue faster in AK+CM if you ever use duty finder.

If you do your daily GC crafting+gathering turnins its pretty easy to have seals built up for respec'ing on a whim if you are going to play another role for multiple days or a weekend.

30 int and 30 mind is a lot, think of upgrading 5 item level 90 pieces from item level 70 darklights, and this really should be addressed.
