I've been seeing the same dude in the same spot for at least 3 days now. I reported him when I first noticed it, and once each day after, yet he's STILL there. When I'm farming, I'll claim his area while he kills my claims, doesn't move, doesn't respond. NEVER LEAVES. Obvious botter.
Why does it take so long to get rid of him? Is there just 1 part-time cheat management person working for you? Or is the account paying a subscription fee, so might as well let him stay?
Who knows. Had the same two RMT spammers in the same open spot in Limsa shouting their spew for 3 days, never moving ... finally being removed.
I know there is not "report - auto ban" thing as investigations are needed, but with how they are going now, SE is totally dropping the ball on this.
Heck, I reported offensive names with genitalia, suicide, and abuse in them and they are STILL IN GAME. Tells me how much SE cares about their own rules.
Well this rampant rmt and botting, on top of some bad lag, is really ruining this game fast. I don't know how much more I can take, personally.
BTW, Thanks for your Sig, Bloodwillow. Their customre support is ridiculous too. I hear people saying it's not as bad as XXX but I guess I'm lucky not to have had worse support than SE.
3 days is nothing. Me and my robot buddies in Thanalan have been hanging out for nearly 2 weeks.
