Unplayable Lag
Reportedly thousands of players have been experiencing lag since about Monday(pretty large post on reddit). Half of my raid in Coil last night was lagging so badly that we had to call it in turn 2 because we couldn't get interrupts off. Has SE posted anything about the lag or given us a notice as to why this is going on? It is simply not playable when the game freaks out like that. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
Would be nice to have a response from a dev

A few people from my FC, including myself, had this lag issue yesterday too.

There is something wrong on the server end for sure.
I can safely say, as cliche and over-used as it may be, I have an incredible computer
and my internet connection is perfectly fine. No throttling, packet loss, etc. etc. etc.
Tested all that, opened many other games/programs and such. No issues. Seems it's
been this way since that last maintenance at midnight I believe? Really unfortunate,
I was getting anywhere from 1 second to 6 seconds of the game coming to a complete
halt before going hyper speed to catch up.
Seemed to get better towards the evening time (8PM Pacific). Maybe because everyone
was so fed up that they all logged early. Lol.

In a way I am happy that more players are experiencing this. As of a few weeks ago players that complained about lag of this nature were responded to with "it's not happening to me so must be something on your end". The more people that experience these issues the more likely they are addressed (in theory, heh.)

Yep same thing here last night. Somehow even with Garuda completely disappearing for some people for entire phases, we managed to beat her, but AK was completely unplayable.

In a fate group in northern thanalan yesterday, the entire Fate Train was lagging. E.g. we'd take off on chocobo's and the entire train would be stuck in place on my screen me lagging out, then the game would unfreeze and we'd be blink 10-20 yalms forward.

We were having trouble last night with Lag on Titan as well. What was weird was that some of us had virtually no lag and others were spiking hard.

I had a few of friends having lag issues yesterday, however I didn't notice any lag. Our issue may have been a routing issue instead of a server issue. I live very close to Montreal while my friends that were complaining live in US.

I can confirm at least with my FC group. AK run. Repel hit me 7 secs after knocking back the rest of the party. Every party member witnessed me get knocked off from it 7 secs after.
We are located at different locations across the US, with different ISPs and hops to the server. This was a server side delay spike, most likely caused from overloading instances.

Been lagging since yesterday too
