Can easily sum this up:
Character Configuration > Control Settings > Character Tab (top right) > Battle Effects Settings - Show None for all
Character Configuration > UI Settings > General Tab > Character Information > Display Flying Text - Off
Didn't have to make a whole video for it, could have just had 2 screen shots. -
