I would wager some people got 'hacked' even with a physical authenticator with some kind of phishing site that asks for your one time password. "What? incorrect? crap I musta mistyped it" *tries again* now they have login credentials and 2+ authenticator codes that are still valid since they weren't entered into SE's system to log in, change the password, steal gil/spam adverts until banned/etc, even if they can't remove the token, physical or software.

Got 3 Accounts 1 got hacked and I used Generator for it. But You can predict the code extremly accurate becasue it follows a pattern, if you have 230 differend codes you can great a algorith that you can use to predict the next code and the next and the next so security token is usless if you have a keylogger and some time.

Nope, never have. I only visit select sites. This one. Mogstation. Square-enix. I don't click links on the side, I don't click links of other posters. Hell, to be completely honest I'm not even sure if I've been hacked yet. All I know at this point is that my service account is not registered according to the launcher and my service account has been suspended according to mogstation. I've checked my email several times. No new emails from square. Except for the one notifying me that my free trial was going to expire in 5 days. Which I was going to remedy this morning. Glad I didn't pay them anything yet.

I've played online games for over 10 years and never once have I been hacked. Pre authenticators or post.

The sad truth to people that are hacked is that they made a few dumb choices. I'm pretty sure the number one cause of getting hacked are fishing scams that people still fall for.
