They are more optimized for BF4 beta released today as far as i have heard and testing the drivers before BF4 comes out at the end of October. They might help and it can't certainly hurt to try at least.
nvidia NEEDS to address the blatant issues with windows 8 and nvidia surround. The game functions fine, it's the outside of game useability in windows that worked great in win7, but is now broken in win8.
Has anyone tried the AMD drivers? Is there any increase in performance for FFXIV?
13.9 was a pretty big increase over 13.8.
I tried 13.10 beta 1 and had some pretty persistent crash issues.
13.8v2 and 13.10 were equally bad for me on 2x 7950 crossfire. 13.9 is leaps and bounds better for me. 13.10v2 seems to be just slight tweaks to 13.10v1 so I'm not gonna try that.
It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved. If this does continue to be a concern, please create another thread to further discuss resolutions or contact the Support Center at support.na.square-enix.com for assistance.
