Party system

So I have been thinking lately, why the 4 member party system?

Everyone who has ever touched a mmorpg should know that Tanks and Healers are rarer then DD's. But in this game, it's like the developers forgot that.

Even with a party system of 5-6 members, tanks and healers where hard to find. But in this game, they apparently think DDs will only be 50% of the server population while the rest will be split between tanks and healers.

So I wonder, why do you think they went with a system that would obviously make DD have a lot harder time getting parties?

Solution, stop playing DD all the time.

Compared to other MMO's this game has tons of healers anyway.

The longer you sit in queue the slower your progression. Why would they want you to get through the content quickly and ask for more?

i hate it when people say this..

There are 2 Healer Jobs.. 2 Tank Jobs.. and 5 DPS Jobs.. the solution is not to "stop playing DD" cos most of the jobs are DD >.>

I myself am a Healer and do not struggle with finding parties but I have heard of people on their main, ie. BRD50 waiting for 3 hrs to get matched up for a run

Or you know, you could make a premade party. Instant queue, unless you're doing AK, which you are not.

If were gonna play it that way there are 4 tank/healer and 5 DD jobs which is nearly an even split of what is needed for dungeons.

Premade does not change the fact that there are more DD then tanks/healers. And for the wait time on AK dungeon being free, never had that trouble. Could be because I never do it right after quota resets, or might be the DF server I'm on. Not sure.

My first, second, and third jobs are tank, tank, healer. I never wait more than a minute to get into a dungeon :D
