Looking For Adult/Mature FC
"older" gamer seeking adult-only (18-21+ min) Free Company that is as drama-free as possible. looking for one that is mainly social/casual, but with an element interested in progression/endgame and maybe even a little PvP. healthy sense of humor that tends towards the sarcastic at times and have even been known to wander across the line of "appropriate" on occasion in the company of those known well enough to appreciate it.
Would like to find a FC that is rooted in US time zones (I live EST), and large enough to have a 24/7 in-game presence. I work 12 hour shifts and for the next few months I am on a complete shift reversal to nights, but will be returning to days at or shortly after the new year.
but don't let that 12 hour shift thing fool ya. work is in 2-3 day bursts of on/off that results in me working each of the 7 days only once in every 2 week period. while this means that I cannot make any sort of weekly commitment, it does result in a lot of play time. on that subject, I manage to log in for at least 2 hours a day on most days after I've worked (9-11), and the majority of 11-11 on the days I don't - and often even starting as early as 7-8. bear in mind, that is currently 11pm-11am EST, but in a few short months that will be reversed and I will be available during prime time even more - and 9pm-11ish nearly every night instead of the slightly half of them left currently after work and social obligations.
in an ideal scenario, voice chat of one flavor or another would be the primary means of communication, at least for group and raid functions. prefer teamspeak3, but have ts2 and vent installed also, and can re-install mumble if need be.
as far as my stance on the whole RP thing goes - I don't participate and have no plans to do so in the near or even distant future, however it doesn't bother me in the slightest to be around it as long as those who do participate are capable of responding in an understandable manner to those of us who don't when grouped.
character is currently a 49 DRG while working the story line, and should be 50 and hope to be through the story at least to Amp Keep (to unlock the GC weapon) over tonight/tomorrow while I'm off. have also taken SMN/SCH, BRD and MNK to 30 with the intentions of leveling one or more of them to 50 as well to provide a measure of versatility. not in any rush, after getting 'keyed' I probably will finish acquiring skills I want from some of the alt classes before deciding which. preferences are leaning towards the order listed
