Now that hatching tide is over...

Have anyone noticed they pretty much refers to that THM Roe that offers you a quest in Gridania?

"Somewhere along the banks of the Black Tea River in Gridania..."

That's exactly where he is...and he is in cowl...so, what you guys think? Would the THM NPC and the GM (which is also in cowl) being plotting against Gridania?

I'm dying to see what's in next patch... ; ; Hopefully it will be announced tomorrow and go live wed or thu (so we can have a patched friday 13th ^^).

Yeah i'd like to think we're getting one more May patch.

Didn't Yoshi P's last letter say that there probably wouldn't be another patch until mid-June?

I'm hoping these Grand Companies will also allow for alot more large scale features in the game, maybe like "Invasion" style areas where there's waves and waves of mobs, and multiple parties of 8 come together to fend off mobs and defend towns/cities. Although they'll have to fix the AOE issue first, but hope it works.

1.18 is going to be relatively bigger than previous patches. This means that balancing is going to take more time than usual, and so we’re anticipating a somewhat longer period between patches. Even if we break off some of the content and release it ahead of time in a 1.17b patch (which me might!), 1.18 will still go live sometime in mid-June at the earliest. Sorry for that.

So would i! ^^ The large-scale battles were what i loved most at FFXI. They does make us feel like we are in a real war! ^^

About the patch, i still have hopes up that we might be seeing one very soon. I don't think it will be this week anymore...but hopefully it will be monday or wed. This silence from devs is killing me! I wanna go avenge Jihli and beat some hooded scum!

I don't think that's talking about a patch. I think it's saying that in mid-May, there will be details about the dungeons posted to the Companies page on Lodestone.

Thanks for the response. But that just says they "might" release a mini-patch sometimes before mid-June. Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but given the phrasing, I thought that meant it's more likely to not happen. Which is why I said that there "probably" wouldn't be a patch until mid-June. But overall, I was just suggesting to the OP that this:

probably isn't going to happen. I doubt we'll see a patch until early June, at the earliest. But the safer bet is that we won't see any patches until mid-June.

But like the OP, I'm interested to see where they take this storyline.
