Hatching tide - Way to go, SE!

I must say i loved this event as a whole! Its the kind of stuff the game needed! ^^ The event was very entertaining and the background lodestone posts too!

Only prob is that it actually didn't have a happy end...poor Jihli. I bet the dude in cowl who erased her memory was that Arcanist GM!! Next time he pops in Ul'dah he will taste the iron of my axe! /psych

I spent a few years yelling "For Mihli!!" at the start of besieged...i guess its time for me to yell "For Jihli!!" *puts the besieged soundtrack to play*

Now lets hope for this new event to reveal so we can avenge her! /evillaugh

It's not over yet. I expect to see more about this in the next few updates.

I really enjoyed this event. With the Lodestone posts, the in-game lore, and the actual hunting for eggs, this event was way above every previous event. Great job quest/event team! Can't wait for the next one!

Yup! I'd say it was the best event from SE ever...i think only one i got similar fun was one from FFXI where we were sent to extreme high level dungeons with sneak and invisible to find a ???...that one was very nice! But as a whole, no other event from FFXI or FFXIV were even close to this one! ^^

Honestly though, gotta agree. SE did a good job on this event, shaking things up a little.

Plus it's been twisting mine, and many others minds on what's going to come next from this. It sure doesn't seem like the event is truly over.

Indeed! Mixing the event content with "real" ingame content seens a very interesting way of doing things...it might start making every event unique not only regarding reward and stuff, but also from it taking part of the "moment" the storyline is.

Right now we can see people plotting against the city-states in several quests, missions...and now at events too...this event was perfectly tuned with the current story! ^^
