Convalescence not functioning as discribed/ability text incorrect.

Steps:
1. Use Second Wind.
2. Note total health restored.
3. Use Convalescence
4. Use Second Wind
5. Note Total Health restored.
6. Do math. The difference will not equal 20% more, not even close.

Please correct the ability itself, or correct the text on the ability, as Convalescence does not currently increase the hitpoints restored from available self casted abilities, (at least on War) only magic.

Just a quick bump. Comment if you also feel this is a bug / misleading ability text, which reads:

Convalescence
Increases HP restored by spells or actions by 20%.
Duration: 20s

Seems like the description is incorrect.

In Japanese version, the description translates to something such as
Increases the effect of Healing Spells to you by 20%

Wouldn't second wind still count as a healing spell to you since it is an ability that is a heal and it does affect you?

Second wind is not a spell is an action.

100% Second Wind doesnt count as a healing spell. It does not function with Mantra on my Monk either.

Then there you have it. Better description of abilities would be nice!

Absolutely. A lot of my current Warrior theory crafting for endgame assumed the 20% bonus applied to abilities, and poor translation (which is truly my own fault for not changing the game to Japanese and checking), is causing a lot of mistakes in my math.

Thank you SO much @O_Villania. This game (and se) needs more players like you. My understanding of Japanese is mostly vocal at this point (I really need to get around to reading) and the mis-translation/complete omission of parts of the storyline during the voice acted CS in an attempt to localize the game is infuriating. - It's almost as if they gave the same translation team simply the closed captions of the voice acted scenes and gave THAT translation to the voice actors, rather then doing the audio parts separately.

Hopefully second wind not being a healing spell is an oversight and not intended.

This skill blows because PLD cure is awful, might be decent for warrior except if it doesn't work with abilities. I always thought it did when I used it with bloodbath, but then again the numbers are so low on my PLD that I wouldn't really notice 20% of small amounts anyways.
