Game configuration is locked...

I can't change anything in the configuration. It's all locked at crap 720. Well, I can change it, but it doesn't change anything. I am not getting any errors. I had limited space on a small SSD. I changed the location of most the windows files on the drive. Now the game wont save anything & I can't find any information on telling it where to look & save for information. I'm pretty sure this is about the 'My Games' folder location, but I wonder if there is more to it, because I haven't been able to figure this out & I didn't really want to reinstall the game, because its on a ssd & that would just ... grrr.. Anyone got any info on this kind of situation?

reinstall or move file back if you remember were they were the config set up may be using a string based or .sys or pad note or both to read the files so it cant change or save them because paths are different.

Laptop or Desktop? IF laptop, you might be restricted as far as resolution goes.
