"TANKS ADJUST" - That BLM.

Been running a lot of Main Scenario roulette for poetics to get up RDM and SAM. Recently felt the need to make this macro.

I had a tank in stone vigil earlier who wanted me to stoneskin them before every single trashpull. They'd stop and wait for me to cast it each time.

I wanted so bad to just type out the word for word description of what stoneskin does and how bothering to turn on their tank stance would be way more beneficial but I just really didn't have it in me to potentially start a fight with randos.

When I'm playing healer I tend to try and time a stoneskin cast to land on them just as the final mob of a pull dies.

1. Stoneskin is about to not be a thing at all anymore.
2. They wouldn't turn on defiance outside of boss fights, if a tank is that concerned about damage mitigation they should really use their tank stance.
3. I was on Scholar which has its own shielding system.

Of course they should have (if they were having trouble)! And you could have called them out on it (again, if they were having trouble with enmity / staying alive). I always Stoneskin my tanks between pulls and still expect them to spend as much time as possible in DPS stance though. It's just good play on both tank's and healer's part.

1. I am so glad stroneskin not existing will count as a good reason not to use it.
2. There were problems the entire way through they could not hold hate at all.
3. Stoneskin has nearly twice the cast time but ends up lasting about as long as an adlo by itself. Casting it between every single piece of trash in a level 41 dungeon is tedious, excessive, and definitely didn't help them tank better or me dps more.

I've been healing for 5 months now and I've never encountered someone expecting it between every single pull in a low level dungeon before. If we were mass pulling the Vault or Sohm Al Hard I wouldn't mind but it was one or two mobs at a time in the Stone Vigil.

I'm not a fan of CS changes that are coming but I really hope it helps minimize the number of, frankly, lazy healers.

I ran Tam-Tara (NM) 2 days ago with a fairly experienced SCH who pretty only casted Physick, with the occasional Miasma>Miasma>Bio>Ruin (yes, 2 Miasmas in a row).

On the ridiculously easy final boss they did 0 dps. Why are you casting Physick on me when Embrace heals me to practically full already? D:
