Yea we can see there's stuff you're not certain of. I will tell you a secret that I am 100% certain of, the NA/EU serves as they are called are in Montreal which is in the province of Quebec which is in Canada, AOE does lagg at times but it sometimes worse sometimes less.

No one here wants any of the difficulty "nerfed". People just want the AOE and the visual clues to match up like they should.

I would just like to add that i too feel the lag of clearly dodging an aoe only to find out that the server didn't register it. Also i've noticed other players on my screen are clearly in the aoe when the boss attack executes so i pre-emptively start to heal only to find out a second or two later that they indeed did dodge the attack when on my screen they should have been clearly hit.

Indeed PSO2 and Tera's netcodes are awesome, Played both and didn't have any of the problems with AOE's I am experiencing over here~
Specially PSO2, I'm playing quite far from the servers but I have never experienced any form of lag on that game not even once!

Once again, If those games can have a proper and decent netcode then why can't FFXIV? I don't want this game to be Inferior to those two or any other MMO's out there.
Titan is awesome, probably the most fun boss fight in this game if not for the crappy netcodes. Great music too~

wow, i thought it was just me guess i'm wrong. Ifrit for example sometime i would get hit by the dodgeball mechanics when i'm out of it in a nick of time or even the plumes. Unbelievable, and for all the people that are saying you're bad get better internet, no. Shut up and watch the videos of what is going on.

The hardcore White Knights have arrived it seems. Horrible netcoding is horrible, and I really don't care if you have beaten Titan because nearly everyone has. Doesn't change the fact that the responsiveness in this game is sluggish and feels like a early 2000 MMO.

Just figured I'd weigh in. I have 2 relics, and can pretty much always dodge Titan because I know it by heart and start running before or instantly when Weight of the Land appears. I rarely get hit, but it happens, and when it does I'm clearly out of it.

Over the last week, I've experienced new lag to add onto the whole 300ms server delay non-sense, where everything stops for a few seconds then catches up. I never had it before, and I can run pings the whole time to various servers and have steady ms the whole time (15ms to google, but about 100ms to the data center... but still, not my side).

Anyway, it's pretty crazy. Maybe my reaction to this terrible situation can bring a smile to the thread: http://www.twitch.tv/vapesk/c/2953785

If I could do Titan solo I would suck it up and deal with it, start running to avoid the AOE before the boss fight happens...blah blah, but what really sucks, is just getting my team wiped when it happens. It is always someone to, brutal fight.

To be honest I am getting out of plumes now 95% of the time, by reacting, not by moving preemptively. I guess I just learned to workaround this crappy netcode.
I have simple rules doing this with bard:
1. Never use skill while in plume range
2. Stop asap as I am out of aoe (you can even be touching the plume with one of your feet)
3. Spam abilities asap as I am out of aoe

If you do it like that, it almost feels like it's working fine :)

I'm not claiming there is no problem, just offering a friendly tip for fellow bards.
