I already regret not doing so, but at least I actually did the quests (I think...).
Still on that tall climb to lv50 leatherwork, just so I can actually start my monk relic quest. Close to 30, just a million more skins to process.
I'm sure most people have seen those FC spam messages that pop up either every so often or constantly, so color me humble when someone in game actually walked up to me as I was putting items up for sale (more just to free up retainer space) and typed a tell asking me whether I would like to join their FC. I felt bad having to reply that I had no clue how long I would be sticking around and I did not want to disappoint his group. He thanked me for the honest reply though. Folks like that are the kind of people I would like to meet up with though. -

So, low lv roulette was not so good at first, had some hard time with temple of qarn's first boss (folks could not get to pad on time due to lag), eventually I had to try again, and ended up at Sastasha Seagrot. Besides somehow killing 10,000 mobs mid dungeon (did not think I have killed that much so far), I got to see a carbuncle again after so long. Almost overdosed on the cuteness.

Finally making progress on my monk's relic. Got to face the infamous Demon Wall, and I did well, up to where as the boss died I got repelled off the platform...
Did not expect a crafting class to be my second lv50, but hey, it kept me busy. -

I am housesitting for friends right now and had a wierd slightly-FFXIV themed dream.
In the dream I am going to my friends' place for a BBQ and I get a call to pick up some egg-free mayonnaise from the shops cause they needed some. I detour to the shops and end up taking a different route to their house than the one I usually take ... so I end up getting lost. Dusk is falling and I notice that there are a lot of people walking around the streets in ffxiv cosplay like it is trick or treat. I continue down the road and reach this place which seems to be the hub of the ffxiv activity. There are valets all dressed up as chocobo porters with the apron and chocobo hat. I phone my friend and get correct directions and then exact a excruciatingly embarrasing 5-point turn with all the valets watching, their chocobo hats turning with each back and forth motion I make, and then I high-tail it out of there. -

Somehow I found myself visiting the Goblet, and I can see all the commotion about housing now. Someone ran around me in circles and started talking to me, it was a bit surprising.
Been working to get thaumaturge up to 15 so that I can swap between it and arcanist as I do the lower dungeons. Magic classes are certainly a fresh change after punching stuff for so long.
I kept wondering why there were all those female npcs outside of the thaumaturge guild, then I found out. My character's face was priceless. -

It worked for a while, until the war was over.
Then things just got, eugh...
