No pretty screenshots yet, but I love her!

I always thought that Viera were gorgeous, but I liked being a smaller, cutesy Au Ra, so I didn't want to change my main. However, lately I've been drawn to Viera's elegance and maturity, so I took the plunge. It was tough to get used to the height difference at first, but I really like how she looks in cutscenes. She also looks good in basically every type of glam.

Fenn in all his glory. 240 years old but doesn't look a day over 180. Don't let his youthful appearance fool you though, almost 200 of those years were spent roaming the jungle killing everything and everyone he saw, and he's never encountered a problem that violence couldn't solve.

"Violence isn't the answer!" I hear some of you say, and you know what? True. You're absolutely right. Violence is the question, and the answer is "yes".

For this particular face and setup I like the Veena way more. Compliments the soft look.

Yeah I know alot of my friends went other races after the changes to the faces. Face four vieras were hit pretty hard by the graphics change and also some of us got tired of the lack of hats after five years. It is just a different game when you can wear hats. But they said they were fixing some stuff in next patch so maybe some will return.

She's still gorgeous! But yeah, just not the same. I feel so bad for all the bun buns we lost... It seems like Face 4 got hit the most. My bun bun is looking the same as she did before, so I got lucky, but she isn't my main. If I could change her situation with yours @LuciaMirain, I would in a heartbeat! Hopefully the next graphic update will fix the most glaring issues and you will be able to return to your bun bun!

Just like Pip said, she still is beautiful, but I know exactly what you mean. All of the buns I know changed after the graphic update but it's the face 4 buns that became completely unrecognizable... It's just sad what they did to them.

If you do start in Ul'Dah! The early zones are a stunning upgrade! As for what race?
I wanted a Viera, but you could try the old relatable wheel of names to choose a race. Or just a race you wanted to try for a while :3

Or you know, maybe a second Viera ;3

I actually followed your advice and made another Viera :3
I've been thinking about replaying the MSQ as a tank for a while, because I haven't gotten into playing tank so much on my main and my main plays mainly healers, so it would be a nice change of pace.
I did start as a marauder however, I just feel it fits her persona (that I kinda created in my head :D) more than a gladiator, but I will for sure pay attention to Thanalan as you adviced!

I love my main's face so much and I am so used to seeing her in cutscenes that for Raven I used basically the same preset, just different colors and some details like ear shape or the face tattoo :D
