Honestly, we just need to abandon this idea of "neighbourhood". Or turn it into something different (pay extra for the house to appear in public areas? Offer benefits to those who manage to get them, like the possibility of opening shops in the neighbourhoods concerned?).

But at this level, no amount of additional land will solve the fundamental problem: it's not right that some people have to wait years to acquire houses, and adding land will never be fast enough to control demand. We need instantiated housing.

Similarly, planned demolition needs to be reviewed. A game that claims to allow you the 'luxury' of taking breaks, but grabs you by the private parts as soon as you have the nerve to buy a plot of land? Bah, what a horror.

I'm just curious about those who have said they would transfer if they wouldn't have a problem getting a medium or large, and whether they'll actually do it. Here's their chance.

No we don't need to abandon neighbourhoods. You want a instanced plot? That's fine, But to remove wards because you don't like it? Nah I like unique aspects of the game.

They arnt. They arnt going to quit because they wouldn't get a plot if they did. And if they do given all the content if you quit over a lack of a plot. Given housing is accessible without a plot. You're gonna be doing the same thing in a apt/FC room as in a plot. Just on a smaller scale.


Many wont do it because their priorities lies with their friends, but that comes down to what they value more.

I play with my friends all the time on Siren which is where my main is located and I have 4 alts on Hali. Not a problem. Cross world linkshells are a thing. There is nothing magical about being a member of a FC in order to play with your friends. The new world experience buff applies regardless of the server you play on. It will be interesting to see if that buff will be removed and only apply to the 4 new servers at release.

I'll continue to enjoy my private Mist waterfront and my FC's plot 11 location in Lavender.

I suspect there will be a DC travel moratorium for the start of the xpac. My guess is 2 weeks but could be longer.

This is your opportunity. I suggest you take it, you're not going to have another chance like this for a long time. You can get whatever house you want, often completely unopposed.

Anyone still looking for a house who has any regrets about not getting in on Dynamis in the beginning, now’s your second chance!

I’d still like to see them start working on an additional instanced system for multiple reasons, but this should address supply (if not size preferences) for a little while at least, assuming people are willing to move. I’d guess more people might be willing this time around, if they stayed on their worlds and are still going through the lottos with no success.
