I guess it is also a gear without accuracy. No sense to show a parse with a 450 accuracy gear when we actually need 535 for FCOB.

yes ofc iam serious what that for a question ?LUL if u want to see ur real dps for its ilvl and current content gear pars ur DPS without any extra or bonus items (no pt buff, no str pot, no buff food) or to desperated ?! those stuff is just bonus nothin more Imao
i mean for parsing ur dps on a 4 min meter, if u raiding coiling different stuff but if u want to check ur dps on a lame dummy why ppl butthurt or desperarted and go only with extra items ? afraid of see lower numbers without ? imao u dont get the sense of it, parse both then and check thats those bonus items is a huge difference that is the reason he could parse 643 dps in the dummy, without would be a way less. but seems here u cant say anything without ppl beeing butthurted and diss back
This guy has got to be trolling or maybe he is just stupid.
I mean of course you will parse lower not using food, party buff and pots thanks for pointing out the obvious.
That 643 parse is pretty impressive with 30% crit rate (im hoping you wasnt using mercy stroke to pad out numbers though) with a time of 3:40 i would assume you were using limited amounts fracture and are packing 450+ skill speed thats assuming you carried on till you ran dry on tp.
i would love to see a full 3mins 40 sec video with mini parse being shown so i can see what you spike for with your opener and such.
Or you can show me in game as were both from gilgamesh.
There is no golden standard for dummy parsing. People want to test different things when testing, however, there are trends that people go by and currently the trend is to parse with party buff. As for pots you have a split there. Using pots is a viable test because if you use that in a boss fight in a raid you'd want to see what kind of damage you might do in a high uptime starting phase.
As long as people disclose what their testing methodology is then there's not an issue. I can tell you that Odowla is running party buff, food, a str pot, and likely a Potent Poisoning Pot. The real question is what accuracy was run for the test. That info shouldn't be hard to obtain as either Odowla will tell us or I can simply ask later on since we play on the same server.
I was using my accuracy set, with the only pieces not i130 being the choker (rip t10), the gloves, and the boots. I did a few primals / scob after I finished this so there was no need to keep wearing so much accuracy gear for that..
But, yes, Pot/Party/PPP (only 1 in my opener, however) and as close to 4:00 as I could get, but with the skillspeed in my set 4:00 is /really/ hard. Using Fracture at 5 s on Demo, Fulltime ToD, until it needs to be cut for TP management. I decided to go for 4:00 (or close to it) because it seems to be the standard that all the ninjas are going for now. Also, my act is set up to not show crit %, but rather, % of damage is from crit.
Also, would like to point out that in all of my attempts, the variation was much lower than ninja, this run being the outlier. This basically means that Ninja's high parses are completetly RNG on what you crit, whereas MNK is pretty much just don't mess up.
I've seen a 632 from a JP Monk on t10...
Also to join in on the conversation from the previous page...
You guys know that the dreadwyrm claws are DET > Crit, right? You only gain 16 crit from the Dreadwyrm to the Zeta.
A screenshot from Ariyala - http://i.gyazo.com/499a5fafe06f44551d5aca09b82d1205.png just backs this up. it 3.424 Str difference, so yeah of course the zeta is better, just pointing out you're not gaining a hilarious amount of det or anything.
I also believe this http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/PZKQ modification of Ricdeau's set would be BiS, changing out the Claws in Favor of the Zeta. Doesnt make it any lerss expensive, however :(
I nearly choked on my Chicken & Mushroom pie reading this.
You need to spend more time on the forums and understand end-game itemisation before you start making (t)rash posts like this. If I wasn't in such a good mood, I would've written you an essay for you to read.
That first bit made me chuckle.
Don't get me wrong, Monk's DPS is high, and around the same as a Ninja. I made a video, but I do want to emphasize that my 643 is exactly the same as the Ninja 640+ and 650+ runs - very high crit runs (or runs you crit all the high potency attacks - for instance on the 643 I had a 85% crit rate on True Strike...) but the video I am posting is a visual representation of the "shit rng" attempts, or essentially, slightly below or above average, depending on your skill level.
You can find that video here
