Still, even though you CAN stay in the same region, it doesn't mean you have to. I think the real problem is that outside of a few quests, you are never encouraged to explore. I think each AREA within each REGION should cater to a certain level range; you need to remember that each region is broken up into several smaller zones.

I agree with the general gist of the suggestion in this thread; but I don't want to see it go from one extreme to the other, where we have to go all over the place every couple levels. shifts every 10 ranks up to 30 and 5-10 ranks thereafter would work. The regions are too big to restrict to a really small level range.

No one is asking to be moved around every few levels. Take a look at Siobu's progression sketches w/ level ranges. The exploration and level progression looks really good when laid out that way. In regards to regions being too large, we will see how they look after the re-design. They might be split into N S E W areas with specific themes like the devs said. We'll have to wait and see how that goes first and then how mob/quest distribution is redone before we need to speculate on anything.
