But I heard if you switch GC's you keep your squadron, so I'm considering it.

You will keep your squadron but if you switch GCs you will have to redo the 40 mission to get the first lieutenant rank for the gc you switched to if you haven't already done it for them.

Can any Roegadames show what they look like in the new Maelstrom GC top with the boots from Y'shtola's new outfit, please?

I entered a hest the other day and landed with a Femroe. She was so excited to see another she went /shock, /welcome, /hug to my avatar before the gate was even down. It was pretty adorable, actually.
