Wow today has been amazing. Great day at work, I didn't get hit by the tornado that nearly hit us, im not wet even though we've gotten are 3rd major flood this year, and these new pics.
Today has been a good day, im in a great mood. :)
Thanks! I work in the safest place in town lol(full concrete building), so I was set even if it hit the town. The tornado dissipated right as it was getting pretty close. It was only a F2 I believe but it could have done some damage to are small town.
Whats funny is when my store director got on the intercom and told people there was a tornado getting close to town the first thing people did in the store was walk up to the big glass doors up front and stare outside. Me and the SD were face-palming.
I'm going to get that new hairstyle and sport WVR gear.
I want to dye it green. :(

Now I think I should do a surviving in Eorzea...
I grew up in Brown Recluse territory. We don't have many venomous spiders(only 1: W Black Widow) up this far north but im still paranoid. Old habits. I always knock old shoes around before putting them on. And I never stick my hand in clothes that have been sitting in my closet etc..
If anyone doesn't know what Brown Recluses are, than feel free to look them up. Necrosis isn't something I ever want to experience.
Ah and a Eorzea editions sound cool to me.
Part 1,
When on a chocobo, never run full speed in an area you're not familiar with......or you might just run into a fire blast.
(anyone who's gotten killed from the server lag and mob loading in the high lv monsters area knows this pain)
oh Australia, how about those jellyfish?
There's a tiny little jellyfish in Australia that when you get stung by one, the pain you experience is so painful that even under the maximum dose of morphine, the pain is unbearable. Irukandji syndrome it's called, and it comes from this little guy:

Nique secretly wants to be a Dancer... /Denmomeme
edit: now I look at it... it looks like many spiders... it is supposed to be just 1 going batshit crazy
I can't draw today -_-... my fingers are being silly.
Oh! Oh! Oh1 I have one!
Lu is a PLD leading a party to the buffalo NM. Maybe the tip is to have a more threatening PLD than a little Lalafell. And have the buffalo laugh really hard while Lu sulks and the other party members have those really weird raindrop things coming off their faces!
Hehehe. I could totally do a "Rogue's Guide to the Australian Language". Just pop my Paragon Crown on top of a mortarboard and I'd be good to go.
And I actually don't mind spiders. We always had around 3-4 Huntsman spider living around out house at any given time.
Warning spider image alert
Mostly they were just the male ones (they are smaller with pointed butts) but one time we had this massive female (generally bigger and have rounded butts) make its home in our living room. She was about the size of a man's hand, so maybe 20cm+. Anywho, one day she started to lay an eggsac. It was quite an interesting process to watch. I remember one evening my dad got out his fishing rod and put the tip close to near where her egg sac was. Man she went mental. She had her back 2 legs on the wall, the next 2 legs up protecting her egg sac and the remaining 4 were attacking the fishing rod.
So one day we realised the eggs were bound to hatch soon and while we didn't mind the spiders, we didn't want 1000 of them running thorugh the house, so my uncle who was over grabbed this big clear tupperware container (never again used to hold food) and mum's best spatula (never again used to cook food) and placing it over the spider scraped the egg sac into the container and then the spider followed and we put the lid on. I took it to school the next day for show and tell. I learned something quite important that day.
My grade 5 teacher was an arachnophobe.

Spider thread?
Now I am happy we don't have that dangerous animals here, even though it is said that wolves are coming back but I guess they're too timid to come that close.
Never saw them flying over Ul'dah o.o Only Coerthas.
@Zerosion: Glad you're ok! I'd be pretty scared @.@
Question:
Am I the only one who's close to tears everytime "Answers" is played? X.x Happened to me last night (again!)
I cry always when I see the ending video of version 1.23 ;;
can't really tell why but it makes me so sad that I have to cry ;;
oh and we have some dangerous insects here too Coris ^^
the ticks (Ixodida) here can be dangerous... not really deadly dangerous... but dangerous
Aww crap, you had to talk about huntsmans. >_<
...I won't be going to bed for the next few hours, it seems.
lol nique, your pose in the last panel is priceless xD
I'm kinda happy I live in Austria not Australia @_@
I would die if our spiders were that big >___>;;;
The biggest spider we have here is this (house spiders):

They really loved my towels in the past ..... I nearly died of a heart attack when I was a teenager @_@ (sitting on my chest or in my hair when I dry off...)

o.O 50,000 years ago. Australia had chocobos.
I looked over on the ff11 forums and saw that SE is holding a special contest where they take a look at each year the game has been in service. Since 1.0 had been live throughout 2010-2012, what has been your most memorable moment from each year of service?
From October 2010 to October 2011 surely the exploration of Eorzea at lv19.. took all camps in solo :Q_ and the first 50 (pug *-*) oh and the kill of Ifrit Hard!!
From October 2011 to Novembre 2012 surely Darnus Hard and the Relic *-* Even the fight of garuda.... and Skirmish.. How much I loved Skirmishes adventure!! *-*
Uh Uh and the Garlean Invasion...
And Last but not Least in the week after 1st November I REALLY loved GMs and Dinamic Event.. and when a GM trolled me *-* Can't Forget!!
This is a hard one.
While trhe first year was very memorable, with exploring Eorzea almost complete at lv14, the 15 player parties, behests. It was a lot of fun.
However, I have to say that my second year was more memorable, from the endgame stuff that was added to the people I ended up meeting. Boy do I have some stories. I've already written some stuff on those here in the thread, I don';t remember where XD.
With that said, even after the game shutdown there have been some memorable things. The excitement for 2.0...and getting into posting here in this thread have all been fun. I've enjoyed myself a great deal.

Hello! Se'rahr Kavaskous here for a few tips for the Eorzean Survival Guide!
Advice #1
/point
For the Pugilists out there, when in Eorzea, always remember! Mother nature is just a pushover when you punch it hard enough! Practice means perfect, before you know it you'll be riding Coeurl in no time at all!

Advice #2
Cactuars! I've never met a cactuar that wasn't just happy to be able to walk or run when they're not soaking in the sun! Generally a peaceful creature, Cactuars will not hesitate to defend themselves if you mean them harm; their Thousand Needles attack is a damned painful defense! Also, Cactuar Jack is pretty cool, we once smoked Moko Grass and played darts for a day.

Good King Mogle Mog XII has a very short temper and a lot of power in all that poofy fur, so try not to make him angry =P
