I can kinda see them adding a new race in 5.0 or beyond. Well, I hope so anyway.

You're just setting yourself up for disappointment if no Viera appear in this raid. Especially if it's mostly going to be referencing Final Fantasy Tactics.

It's just their theory, and they're having fun with it. I want to hear more about what they think might possibly happen.

What will possibly happen is something with a political plot of sorts, maybe Espers and the Ascian named Altima. Maybe.
Ivalice has so much more in it than Viera.

Didn't they say they were stepping away from ascian's for this xpac though? Hmmm, dunno if I'm remembering correctly though lol.

They said that the ascians would not play a big role in the MSQ or the overall plot of Stormblood, side stories are fair game. Given that this is an Ivalice raid, their appearance would make sense.

And since Yoshi-P specifically mentioned FFT in an interview and there's an Ascian named Altima... who knows? Maybe we'll even encounter an NPC named Ajora, or Alma.

I say viera will show up at the end of the raid (4.3-4.5). I think raid will be about everything Ivalice, including the viera.
Only Yoshida knows the answer to that, not Nestama or Lambdababa.

It's a perfect bridge to adding them into hydaelyn. Ivalice's always been about grimoires that lead into/out of places so this grimoire is a perfect door :D
