技術的には15fps自体を実装することは可能です。
Technically it's possible to implement 15fps

ただし、まずはパッチ1.19にて30fpsをお試しいただければと思います。

PCの環境は人それぞれ違いますので、フィードバックをいただきながら、
その上で、15fpsの実装検討を含め、快適な動作のために対応は継続して行っていきます。
PC's environment varies depending on the person, therefore we would like to receive feedbacks first then on top of that be able to look into releasing 15fps and continue to make other changes which may ease (make it more enjoyable) the play.

The game's framerate is already uncapped meaning it can hit 60 fps or higher. All most want is for the game to be optimized so its not unnecessarily taxing on hardware that should be able to maintain a steady 50-60 easily. I know its just a quick translation, but it just seems odd to talk about implementing a specific framerate...especially something like 15fps.

I think the game is capped at 60fps, because the game heats your system too much otherwise.

Somebody asked for a 15fps cap (god knows why), the rep responded that they'll implement a 30fps cap first and would like him to try that.

A 30fps cap can be useful if your system can't get to 60fps regularly enough.

Wouldn't a 15fps cap mean the game would appear jumpy and lose smooth movement?

I remember back when 60fps was the norm to run games at instead of 30fps.

Still if it stops the fauna of Black Shroud from chewing your frame-rate, it's got to be an improvement.

So someone really did ask for a 15fps cap...thats just insane. 30 I can see though. A smooth 30 still looks and plays nice.

This might be the point.Fan is loud and the room gets hot so, they want to make the fps low.What is fps anyways?

Makes sense, you can turn it on when you're craft grinding late at night or something.
