my gut feeling tells me more and more they don't know how to fix this.
I am gonna hang out for a few more months, focus on crafting and such.
I think it is gonna be hilarious if they start pvp while this problem exists. omg I cannot even imagine. lol.
crossing fingers that they actually know how to fix it.
I posted awhile back, just dropping by to continue to add my voice behind this thread. I've been a raider on over 10 MMOs now and I feel I'm a pretty good tank, but the AoE is like Kryptonite for me. Being slammed off the edge in titan or daemon wall when I was clearly safe is just stupid.
Thumbs up! I don't agree with any lessening of difficulty just putting more resources into these latency issues.
I am not at the endgame yet. but I would hope that making bosses easier is NOT their answer to this positional lag problem.
NOT ONE person on this thread has asked for bosses to be easier. all we ask for is a fix for the red circle aoe mechanic.
again, I really hope the nerf to bosses was not the answer to this lag problem. this lag problem permeates the ENTIRE game.
I think this can be summed up in one sentence:
When I escape the AOE before the cast bar finishes I want the server to recognize it, nothing more and nothing less.
I'm not exactly satisfied with that sentence. It would only improve an awful experience to mediocre one.
Telegraphing and animations should to be perfectly in sync with casting times.
In other words giving the titan example - cast bar finishing, plumes exploding and player dying, should all happen at the same, exact moment, and dead body should never be lying in non telegraphed area.
