Yeah it's horrible people can be let go because people dig through years of tweets and dig through what they like on social media or because they follow certain people. But yet people like sena can keep her job despite being a toxic human spouting misogynistic racist and other types of tweets because a company is afraid to be called transphobic for firing her.

From what I remember, she committed the grave sin of... liking the wrong posts on Twitter. And that was enough for the Kancel Klan to go after her.

I genuinely wonder what Japanese companies actually look at when English employees do stuff. A few VAs from another game series have been genuinely awful lately and not a peep from the company about it. You would think they would want to be able to see what's going on with the people that represent your brand.

I think the actually talented Susan liked a post against child transitions, was labelled a transphobe, and then they saw followed Jordan Peterson. I'm not sure how they linked Islam to her and don't remember. Susan was removed from a fan fest right after. They chased that poor woman away from the community for passively liking 4 tweets they disagreed with over the course of years.

Meanwhile Sena posts her actual thoughts and constantly tries to be divisive. Because she's trans this is okay? She should be celebrated in the fanbase? No.

Honestly a lot of the times from what I gathered when looking into this they have a company and this company records the lines which is then sent; the main company rarely knows who the VA's are until after recording; the thing I want to know is why did they go back to American VA cause ARR was American VA and they left it for UK VA because it was better and closer.

and all I could think of while mulling this point over is Kate must have had something to do with it as the lead English localizer they have been pushing certain ideas since shadow Bringers and now she was put in charge with no one to keep her on a leash so to speak and I think that she was the one that pushed this as from what i can tell for DT only the English local has the accents and is from what I read the worst of all the acting and this is not just Wuk Lamat but all of them.

I remember reading some people posting she liked anti Islam post as well but wasn't sure if it was true but it just seemed to be a cancel culture thing and haven't heard anything about the whole situation since last October. And Susan has seemed to gone quiet since then and potentially seems to not be a part of square enix anymore.

It's really sad. She performed beautifully and was an awesome member of the fandom. I guess the cancel crowd got their 5 minutes of cheap thrills sitting in their chairs, while ruining someone's career.

Yeah I like her performances as well and lately at distant worlds concerts she seems to have been replaced by Amanda Achen and various other singers and Susan hasn't appeared at a concert since last year.
