When you're Off-Tank, the Main Tank dies, and you have to run in before your time and take over. However, as they're getting rushed to safety, you know they're going to have weakness and you're going to be left there to take stacks with no tank swap opportunity in sight. Still, it's okay, because it's you're duty and that's all that matters:

The Bard occasionally bothered to use a single Straight Shot. That's also what he kept spamming after I threw a fit when I ran out of MP in the 1st pull after the 1st boss.

To be fair, if the mch saves gauss round / ricochet for that, they can down the mob pretty fast. Know what's worse? Using dreadwyrm trance and halfway through getting sucked up, wasting your chance at deathflare >_>
