Concerning gil, we plan to implement features such as Housing, Changing the color of equipments, Barbers and other similar features where they are repeatable, gil-consumable content. Therefore, the current gil will still carry over into the new FFXIV.
So... whats a dammy?

I'm really hoping to see a Distant Worlds concert some day. For now I will settle with the soundtracks.
I know Answers, Twilight Over Thanalan, Navigator's Glory, and Primal Judgement are on their rotations for Distant worlds. I'm not sure which are currently being played though.
I really wish I could go to one of the upcoming Distant Worlds concerts. I've been to two, but only the ones in my area; and it looks like Chicago isn't getting another one for the foreseeable future. It is probably one of the most spectacular musical experiences a Final Fantasy fan can have. Sure, there's better music out there, qualitatively, but none of it is going to hit that emotional chord like hearing Answers live.
The one big disadvantage to living in ND is being no where near any place something like Distant Worlds would play. There isn't a single convention hosted in my state either lol.
I can't say I miss the city though, I just wish I was within a decent distance to a city big enough to host things like that.
I will be really sad if this is another region locked item... like the Moogle Earrings - Dalamud Minion
It's not that I want the item... it's just I do not support the possibility that only one region can obtain it.
maybe SE learned and it will be like with the bonus items codes for FFXI that it doesn't matter wich region :O
In XI you could also get the harp-piano thingy for the moghouse from the JP soundtrack even with NA or EU account.
So maybe it also works with the FFXIV bonus items :x I hope it... I wanna buy this soundtrack and a little dalamud as pet would be awesome XD
I agree with niqote it like those items they give out at con's it make me very angry me that I can not get them.
Might as well ask about it for live letter.

edit: opps i should have checked... another person asked it too... oh well~! /mistake
I was playing ff11 earlier and I noticed in Eastern Adoulin there's a mithra NPC named Anomaly Expert. After killing any of the current Naakuals, trade her a ygrette rock and she'll say "Easier than unraveling a ball of yarn."
Wonder if they read this forum...if so I want royalties xD
make sure it smells like catnip or it will never work... http://forgifs.com/gallery/d/154328-...ats-panic.gif?

*runs away*
/glomps... Wait a minute, I don't glomp... Where are our glompers? *cough* Hi, welcome, please come in, we had cake, but Nique and Vergil ate it all. There is only one rule of Nique's happy fun time thread Super general discussion.... but I've forgotten what it is.
*peeks his head into the room*
Ahah! I like that rule, that's a very good rule indeed!
No cake? Hmm... That reminds me of one time in my youth, while trying to fund an education, I spent some time as a guinea pig for one of those big pharma companies, funny story.... but wait that's a story for another time!
Thank you very much for such a warm welcome :-)
