Are you ever going to really fix the issue with abilities hitting some people when they are clearly out of range of it?
I know it is early in FF14 but as I watch people cap multi lv 50 jobs and finish the main story what will we see? what is sitting on the shelf waiting to be let loose?
My question: How are you planning on implementing new jobs? Are you going to release new disciples along with each new job?
Reasons behind the question: As it stands; Arcanist, Summoner and Scholar are all interlocked. Meaning if you level one you get all three. So, if you level your scholar to level 50, you get a free level 50 summoner and vice versa. This is unfair. My concern is that (in example: ) say you release Dark Knight, the base is marauder and thaumatage...you have both a warrior and black mage at level 50 so, when you unlock Dark Knight that too will begin at level 50? I am concerned as it has already happened with arc/smn/sch. The fact that the Disciple of war/magic are interlocked with their main job seems to take a whole bunch of game play away, especially when multiple jobs share a main disciple.

What are the current race ratios for servers/game as a whole? Is there anything about these results that are surprising to you?
My question: Are there any plans to make Bard more support than DD?
Reasons behind the question: As it stands, many players including myself consider bard to play more of a DD type class. In the description for a bard, I was under the understanding that I would be spending my time singing and buffing my party with the added benefit of a bow to defend myself and assist when I could between singing shifts and Crowd Control with my arrows/songs. Similar to how it was in XI (but a little less extreme) As it stands I spend 99% of my time fighting with only a small amount of my time going to activating a song from the...3 total I have to choose from to buff as needed and then jump back to fighting. In XI it was the exact opposite, I spent 99% of my time buffing. I was really looking forward to support jobs and would like to see it more fully developed. I enjoy the fighting aspect but maybe a fellow bow user under the moniker of "ranger" should be introduced for this?
Sleep and Repose make a huge difference in how an instance run goes. Lacking these makes the runs more difficult. Are there plans to adjust this by either making instances less reliant on CC or spreading CC out a bit so that the instances don't notably increase in difficulty if a BLM or WHM are not part of the group?
Considering people have become overly reliant (and thus blame) PLD and WARs for wipes on fights like Hard Mode Ifrit, could the devs consider making bosses such as HM Ifrit and future primals immune to stuns?
-Are we ever seen some lag reduce for BR players? kind sux u avoid be the leave a red area and after 1,5s u still receive its atk, try to heal titan with our lag and u will understand...(die because u did a mistake i deserve, die because u cant prevent the future is not, i need to heal and move, heal and move, and hope is aim at me while I'm moving than i can evade)
-Is there any plan to improve summons ai? kind sux ur pet die for doom on and stuff because it takes alot of time to place him where u need, when u go kill vergel u cannot since u still don't have ur instant skill and ur minion takes forever to enter the area, or u need to re-summon because u pet atk something that agro u while running, and u forgot to put it on steady.(Tank pet need upgrade, it cannot hold the agro my summoner can generate.)
-Can we one day expect more aoe rotation who could last, and not so much single burn.
-Can Odin be larger, i could never seen how he is like, because of so much ppl and skills.
-Can healing be a little harder? my fairly can heal alone 70% of the time... kind boring..
-Can we see some better looking gear for caster? when is not a horrible ugly mantle, is a holy white gear, or a very gay one... not against who is gay, but i don't like my char looking like one.
-Lets us use a mount while chocobo is on party, we have more than on mount after all..
-work on better payment methods for Brazil

Can we ever get Garlean armor in the game or variation in armor that don't look similar to each other. For example armor based on gender (archer specifically), and armor that makes your character looks more dangerous if it's tanking class or a melee dps. Right now some lower level armor looks very similar to some higher level ones, so some variations would really be good, same with weapons.
Will there be some user interface changes brought with this upcoming patch? An improved map system would be nice where if you hover over icons on the map it'll tell you what it is. Also trying to find party members on the map is a pain, the blue dot way too small for you to notice it easily. Right now the map doesn't feel that user friendly. Also when you hover over icons of your abilities, some of the abilities seem too similar to each other, at least so far it seems that way. Maybe a better description for it, or updating some abilities where it actually seems different besides the effects on screen.
It seems theres no clear answer to this question of mine so far so I'm hoping this question is selected. Right now it seems that you can't use your Square Enix account name as the first name for your character's name. Can this be changed? Because if it's a security reason, no one would know what your account name is unless you tell people, also if you get hacked, then it doesn't matter what name your character has, whether it be the same as your account or not. Or can we have it where our Square Enix account names are our email address instead?

I feel crafted gears are subpar compared to +1 relics and enhanced AF. Is there any plans to implement ilevel 90 crafted gears in the future?
Will we have more cute emote's and interactions? For example will there be more emotes that couple's can make to display affection? Also will the marriage system be in depth with things you can do with you're in-game spose?

I'd like like to see some additional emotes as well. The negative emotes (like disappointed, grovel, etc.) seem to outnumber the positive ones (like grin, wave, etc.). Are these the only emotes we'll have, forever? I'm interested in knowing what sort of benefits (if any?) will be included in the marriage system. Can spouses purchase a house together? Will there be a special LS built in for spouses?
When and if are you going to add item preview to the market and shopkeepers? I'd love to see the looks of the items I'm buying on my character, before I buy something very ugly. Same goes for dyes, will we ever be able to preview how the dye will look on our gear?
1- Can you put the new area with elite mob so we can start doing spiritbound party or level up like the old times instead of grinding Fates?
2- Its a possibility to add NM around Eorza like before. this will implement people to party around hunting thisNM for unique drop.
3- Can you make that to craft certain item from a craft you need to select one craft to be your main and master craft that way we can make people do items and sell better.
4-Can we see a fix in the fairy is AI. She goes using all the skill when you just want to use 1 only.

Can we get a tackle box to store all our fishing gear in? Maybe different tool boxes for each Disciple of the Land and Hand to store materials in or something like the armoury chest to store everything in.

With the inclusion of Lightning from XIII and other similar elements that seem to be connected to the crystals in the lore, is there any chance of an arena or coliseum that would allow randomized battles with enemies/bosses from previous FF games? Maybe a crystal nexus point or something similar that would expand and enhance the concept of interconnected FF worlds. While most people would lament the inclusion of main bosses from other FFs in the main scenario, this might be an interesting way to add some more nostalgia to the game.
Can we expect to see Thief in the near future? This game is awesome but it does not feel right without that Job. Please let us know, I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses Thief.
Can we expect access to our retainers and/or FC bank in other areas outside the main cities?

It seems as if one of the original jobs in the entire history of final fantasy was left out of FFXIV, Thief has been around since the beginning, are there plans to add Thief to FFXIV?

Eorzea is just one continent of Hydaelyn. Is it possible that one day, us adventurers will have to brave the seas to other unknown continents that even the greatest scholars of Eorzea know nothing about?

Why is there a 300 tombstone relic limit cap? Is there a reasoning behind this? Would it be possible for Yoshi-P to have this limit cap removed? Most players, whom beat the game, want to quickly obtain the dark light armory for future game difficulty updates and expansion add-on updates.
Can we see 1.0 achievements make there way back into ARR. Such as NMs --> Fates, Hamlet --> Fate, Gil Achivements, Gathering, Chocobo Escorts --> Fate and much more. I would like other players that didn't get chance to do some of these achievements a try. There are quite a few that could be put in the game without much development needed since the assets are already there.
^This, artificially extending gameplay feels very archaic. Gear treadmills are boring.^

Are there any plans to fix the delay issues that are still in the game?
In any other MMO, what I see is that I get. Here, I'm told I'm out of melee range of moving targets even when I'm on top of them. Why is the game so clunky compared to other MMOs?
My ping is ~60-70 and I've never had any delay/lag issues in any other game, with one very specific exception--war steeds in LOTRO rubberbanding, which happened to everyone is entirely the developer's issue since everything's fine as soon as you get off.

A few times now, I've run castrum meridianum and had a party member run around in crafting or gathering gear just to quickly gather spiritbond. Can you please make gathering and crafting gear only equippable for those classes? These seems like an abuse of the spiritbond system.
Dear SE dev team, any plans to tweak Warrior Tanking ability to be competitive with the paladin or the "off-tank" design is what you had in mind for this Class?
