One of my favorite themes from the Final Fantasy series.

Isn't there a FFVI tune in-game already? The one that plays while fighting the thugs in Ul'dah to save the lady in a white cloak after Copperbell Main Scenario quest (after which you are invited by the Scions?)? I thought it was FFVI-based.

I wish every mount could get its own theme, or at least have mounts split into categories and give each mount category its own theme. But in the meantime, I do like this idea implemented for both the Magitek Armor and the Gilded Magitek Armor.

Actually, that tune is a remix of the battle theme from Final Fantasy II (the original can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8TdhrqIc9c )

Also, if you liked that theme, you'll notice that it does make a comeback a handful of times during later parts of the game, including a FATE pertaining to Hildibrand.

Yes, yes. A thousand times yes. Hearing Terra's Theme is the entire reason I was excited for the mount. I was really disappointed when it played in the trailer but didn't when you actually rode it.

I just got such a hard nostalgiga flash you can't begin to imagine. And .. I grinned like a mad man, when I saw: Terra/Tina, Imperial Soldier Wedge, Imperial Soldier Cid in that formation riding for Narshe. Now I remember why that path in Coerthas seemed to familiar.
I will make a hume just to look like Terra, if the hairdo is in, but .. is there this outfit somewhere? I am sure I can dye one of those hempen things lilac, and probably also some leggins, but is there a halfdress with huge bandana at the waist?

Having FFVI music in FFXIV? Well We allready had the "pun" about the "Phantom train you don't want to ride dead" so ... it has to be done!

Yeah. Both my gf and I were hoping this might happen in 2.2 (or just someday period). She's a huge FF fan and has always had a love for the music, particularly devil's lab and well... just about anything from FFVI.
