With the current rising of RMT it would be nice to just right click on a name in chat log to blacklist. A short cut and error proof method to the current system.

My only request is to once again allow players to repair each others gear. This was a big reason for why I leveled all of the crafts, so I could repair gear for my husband and our ls/fc. Please bring this option back!!!
I humbly ask that YP take a hard look at he numbers for how much each type of content that is being played and then consider why people are making those choices.
The rewards for FATE either need to be reduced, or the rewards for completing other types of content needs to be increased / expanded; as of right now 95% of content being played again and again is FATE.
While I'm glad there are things to do solo up to 50. There is actually very little worth doing in a group. Which is a crying shame for a game that you'd think would encourage co-op play.
Adding a small number of GC seals to dungeon mobs and / or completion, and increasing the exp slightly would make dungeons much more viable.
I also think that for some of the slightly harder dungeons, Sunken Temple and beyond. These need to be 8 man, and have mobs / rewards adjusted accordingly. I think it would be much more fun to have a larger group to play with as you are leveling up to 50 until leaving it until so late in the game
It would also be nice if the DF automatically changed your class when accepting to join and giving you more time to accept if you are in a quest cut scene.
Allow people to accept DF request tentatively so that other members can see they are willing but finishing up cut-scene or something
Add more ways for players to co-operate during battle.
Encourage people to use AOEs to defeat mobs, because 1, 2, 3 feels like it's for babies.
Allow option for auto marking mob groups
Some of the later dungeons it is impossible to get up from raise during boss fights even if it's just 1 member dead. Is this intentional?
Please let me use a companion while seeking on DF.
Please adjust the reward for repeating guild hest, GC seals would be good!
And the douchebag level ITT goes up a few notches! Koldhara was giving an example ya asshat...
Is there a way to open all your bags at once? I can't seem to find one, and if not, it would be useful for speedier organizing ;)
As for chat bubbles that people ask for, apparently they place a shocking amount of stress on servers, a lot of newer MMO's dont even do them anymore.
i just want a queue and an anti-afk system. Everything else i can wait...
FFXIV want to have list
-AFK kick
-UI reset command
-Target lock so I can't lose my target by lick on dead space, only esc or changing targets.
-Fixed tab targeting filters, better tab targeting (tab targeting closet mob).
-Being back to turn off quest tracking.
-Being able to see what quest are complete without when clicking 'J'.
-Better party UI and more customization, bigger aggro bar.
-Ability to turn off debuffs other then my own.
-Being able to change gear while sitting.
-Being able to talk to npc's while mounted.
-More detail on skills and abilities (regen MP.. HOW MUCH?).
-Bring in cosmetic slots. i like more customization on my charterers looks .
-Mod support sooner than later...
-Way to vote kick people from instances.
-Better way to add people during mid instance. Show a looking for players status bar or something.
-Way to tell how much time I spent logged in the game.
-Way to see how much ping I have and a better way to see FPS.
-Way to link items in chat
Would be nice if they let us pay our subs before the free trial ends and just add that time to the free trial days. :D
Ability to queue for next dungeon with the current people in dungeon (after killing last boss).
So if you get good group with people from other servers, you can queue with same people and go next dungeon.
Although many has suggested that AFK Timer , may i say this is all not enough to tackle the situation.
Simply because of timed macros , so ill love to suggest maybe a simple Timed pop up Quiz to the player with a random but simple question in their Regional Language as their account was registered to .
For Example : 1+4+9 = ?
What a Great Comfy B_D to sleep in .
this could be used by possible a Gm to check Botters /AFK / Multibox ( Isn't 3rd party applications against the ToS ? ).
Also Make Sure the Quiz Window can't be moved at all by the user ( forcing multibox users to click different answers all at the same time )
Also Please Punish the Users , that Mis Use the Inn by staying afk within to gain exp bonuses . by making the exp bonus only apply when the user has indeed logged off.
This won't affect all active users , just the Players that has hit timers mark so literally its AFK users which as primarily in a safe spot ( If Doesn't respond within timer limit it logs em off),
As for Suspected / Reported Bot with no chat confirmation from a Gm this can be used for a timed verification.
Multibox Users if Reported Looks exactly like bot in a swarm at the same location though .
it be very simple 1 click multiple choice quiz consisting of possibly 2 random questions .
That why i said earlier that wasn't enough since its simple to bypass and stayed logged in with a Timed Macro ( a 3rd party application doing various commands ) on repeat .
And I'll Repeat again ...Only Affect a Reported Player that a Gm Decides to take action on .
There is no Downside .. Unless your Reported. So i dunno how it push people away unless your guilty....
and no it can't affect you in dungeons / raids ..
If they do bot into Raids to hide , they can implement a vote kick system .
Please tell me how again it affect a non reported player in more details and scenarios .
My General Idea is to Verify that there is a Human being behind that monitor / Screen Playing when Mass Reported.
Not sure if already posted but I've been wanting this after making a macro recently.
-GCD and range indicator for Action based Macro's. Example: I have a macro like this-
/ac "Fight or Flight" <me>
/ac "Fast Blade" <t>
If I use it and Fight or Flight is available, it casts that. If FoF is on CD, it uses Fast Blade. Unfortunately, there's no TP cost displayed since it's a macro, and when I use it for Fast Blade, that button doesn't show the rotation for the GCD. Be nice rather than just choosing from a list of pictures, if there was some macro line that would make the button mimic a skill.
With crafting items, either let you use items from your retainers or add a separate crafting bag, that lets you hold 1 stack of everything regular+HQ, for all crafting ingredients.
100 items is not enough room for you to carry everything so you can switch between fighting/gathering/crafting on the fly. I barely started gathering/crafting, just monster drops and mining/botany(level1-10) have filled it up almost completely and that is with giving all the HQ items to a retainer.
How about a vote to kick system for the duty finder? And the ability to whisper others in the duty finder would be nice.
Having to eat a 15 minute cooldown because someone DCs and you can't remove them or because you get the misfortune of getting someone who's either decided to not contribute, intentionally inhibit the groups progression, or just being an all around ass is a bit much and when more people can log in it's something that's likely to become more common.
Just to be clear, multiboxing does not have anything to do with 3rd party programs and is legal. It is the use of multiple service accounts and multiple instances of the game running at once for each service account. Also, those of us who do multibox (I do to have accessible mules and I'm not at all nervous about admitting that on SE's own forums because they allow it and tell you how to do it) must pay for every service account.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but it would be nice to see more leader options for Free Companies. As of now it seems as most options you can give members are an all or nothing thing. For some bank slots I would like people to be able to donate but not take out, kinda thing if that makes any sense.
Just out of Curiosity , If the Server Maximum limits is 5000 Users .
And 200 actual players using 5 Characters simultaneously on the same server , they would take 20% of the server for their benefit ?
Considering the fact there are actually thousands of players , getting 200 players x 3 Mules as you call em be 12% of the server and so on and so forth ?
So this game is Covertly a pay to win ?
Note maximum is 8 registered to one account , I'm Guessing that filthy rich users can handle this .
Also how does one tell the difference between a Bot Group and a Multiboxing user in a Tab Targeting game ? a Chat Reply ?
I use an additional server slot for one character on one mule account for 2 minutes maybe once a week, not exactly locking everyone else out. Even that puts a huge strain on both my wallet and my PC so 5 or 8 accounts at once is ludicrous unless you're RMT'ing to make it financially sustainable. Botting has nothing to do with multiboxing and the exact same thing could be said about any single account player. You can't always tell the difference between a player and a bot but that doesn't mean they are a bot, they could simply not feel like chatting at that moment. Multiboxing does not mean RMT activity either.
Edit: Sorry for going off topic by the way, just trying to stop mis information from spreading.
why i suggested the timed multiple choice quiz pop up on Afk users , or mass Reported bots .
Although you stated you login for few mins on mules to transfers is understandable , but there are users that do personally abuse this and do bot instead .
Just look for videos of groups of long range players bundle in various fields in one spot killing with slight intervals of casting .
I seen groups of dead players in the fields for a prolong period of time .
And not all multibox users are like yourself , some stay logged in to have Higher chance of playing one of many chars .
I personally see the idea of multiple registers keys under one account mainly for multiple systems ideally for family / groups that have only 1 credit card holder to be a lot easier to keep track of their salary spent.
Don't know if it's been mentioned, but I'd like some sort of indication of exactly how far I am from my enemy.
The more I read this excellent thread, The more concerned I am that so many basic features are missing from a "AAA" MMO in 2013,
This coupled with the server issues, and shocking Customer service (600 page thread of post due to confusing Mog station code Input) leaves a troubled feeling in my mind about subscribing,
Back on topic, I would like :
The right click ignore function for the Gil sellers (an absolute must)
An auto sort function.
I also do not want to lose my place in duty finder queue because I summon my Chocobo.
Lets hope for the best, I am not so confident though
It sounds to me like a lot of you want World of Warcraft with a Final Fantasy backdrop.
Many of you have even brought your WoW forums attitudes, which I can't say I am happy to see although I expected it. I am really glad to see such a massive interest in FF and hope that many people find a place in the community here. I am nervous about such a huge influx of seemingly entitled players making "suggestions" which are little more than thinly veiled complaints. These forums are positively brimming with negativity, one-upsmanship, and insults. It is disheartening to see this under a "Final Fantasy" banner, and it is highly out of place.
Myself, I am thankful that SE made servers outside of Japan and has put forth the effort to appear interested in our input.
If you want this game to play like WoW, here is my suggestion: play WoW. Don't come here and try to "suggest" that the game immediately be changed in some way "becuz (what you want) is an mmo standard."
Really? Are you being serious? Stuff like this is making me consider not even bothering with this game. If your hardware and organization is that bad, I'd rather play every other MMORPG that supports simple things like this.Quote:
Text bubbles cause a lot more stress compared to logs. Unfortunately, we currently have no plans to implement this feature because of the impact on the hardware.
That this isn't in the game is beyond me. This is almost a must for MMORPGs, as it makes the chat VERY disorientating. And not even the fact that this specific thing doesn't work upsets me, but it worries me what other things won't work either.
Sorry if I seem aggressive or hostile, but I genuinely don't understand how this doesn't work while other MMOs easily support it.
And if PS3 is the reason, then all I have to say is: Wow. Again PC users get screwed over becaused of outdated consoles.
I'm not sure if it has been mentioned yet (wasn't on the front page), but after playing the Arcanist and it's jobs quite extensively (lv 50, doing some lv 50 content), I feel the pet UI, or the pet integration needs a bit of an overhaul. Don't get me wrong, the AI for the most part is pretty solid, but actually controlling the pet, or using it effectively can feel like a chore at times. A few issues as I see them are:-
1. Pet AI using skills on cooldown. Is it possible to get make these so they can be toggled on/off for auto-cast?
2. The inability to integrate pet skills/behaviour into macros. The possibilities are endless here.
3. The inability to interact with your pet/use pet skills during character casts. Being unable to use a pet ability while you're casting seems illogical at best, and can be incredibly harsh/crippling at worse.
1. Bring Final Fantasy 11 notorious monsters system to this game so we can hunt a monster without people butting into the fight.
2.Let us be able to kill a mob with out a player butting into the fight. If you get stuck use the call for help option that was in FF 11.
3. Egy Summons should grow or when they do a special move to become there primal form. These just look like baby versions. No one will be happy to see an Odin Egy, Shiva Egy. Let us be able to summon Fenrir for him to be close to his real size like in FF 11 & to be able to mount him.
Beside these changes and way's to improve the game i am having a blast and can see this being the Only MMORPG game i will ever play.
this may have been addressed already but all I really want is for them to add a lot more voiceovers
For PlayStation users we need to be able to adjust the games screen size as the game does not allow you to move all aspects of the hud like the chat box. Currently my chat box and map are cut off just enough for it to be annoying. This can be fixed easily by allowing me to change where the screen border is in game. Most other PlayStation games allow you to do this.
Pretty sure it's been said, but it needs to be brought up again >.>
A way to kick people from the pt while in a dungeon.
Extremely bad healer but rest of the pt is good? Kick
Whiny person etc? Kick
Someone decides to afk after the first boss until the end of the dungeon? Kick
Someone the same job as you, with better gear, lotting need on the items you actually need that they don't? Kick
This would save so much time than leaving and getting stuck in a queue again, if DD. Last night I had a pretty good pt for Ampador Keep, except our whm >.> She'd be nuking over curing, or standing still half the time. With me as pld, that's not fun to be fighting a boss / multiple mobs and be sitting at ~400 hp while whm does nothing lol Best part is, her excuse was something about the pt needing better gear, but it was really her lack of cures. I could understand if that was lvl 20 or so, but come on, it was lvl 50.
If there was a kick function in a dungeon, I could have easily booted her and got a better healer and actually cleared the dungeon.
Was going to make one of these myself, but you touch on a lot of things that I am hoping get changed up in a form of QoL update, but I also had a couple that I feel would be nice on the list:
GAMEPLAY:
- Ability to mount or use chocobo porter with a companion out. For example with the chocobo. Have him despawn when we mount or get on the porter, and respawn when we dismount / arrive. Have the timer continue in the background so this can’t be abused to extend it’s timer....
- I don’t care what is done with tab-targetting, but it’s god awful. I have no idea what the priority is but it never targets anything that is remotely centered on my screen, close, engaged, or anything. It seems completely random where it just whimsically targets stuff around you.
- Just make it so that any form of communication with NPCs, be it quest turn in, dialog progression, vendors and such, can all be done while mounted. There is no reason this has to be disabled while on a mount. And give us an option to auto dismount when using abilities, or when clicking on an object such as an interactive for a quest.
CHAT:
- Ability to SHIFT+SCROLL WHEEL to automatically jump to the top or bottom of the chat log.
- Ability to move the chat box from within the UI unlock utility. I’d like to be able to move it around without having to shift in and out of that configuration mode.
MISC UI:
- Better indicator for your buffs, or just outright ability to filter out all but your own applied buffs and debuffs.
- Airship cutscenes -> extend this to the boats too.
- Party options on right click menu when clicking on yours or party members name for leaving party, kicking, promoting and so on.
- Allow us to keybind how we want. Currently things such as reply REQUIRE a keyboard modifier such as shift, or control. If I want reply to just be R, let me set it to just R.
- UI Scaling. I’d like to be able to change the scale of UI elements. For example, make hot bars smaller, while leaving everything else the same. In the same screen where we can move UI elements, let us have a slider for scale. As well, while we’re in there, have a default for that element button. If I’d like to reset a single item, I’d like to be able to do so without resetting the whole UI.
- I’d like to be able to remove the indicator number from hotbars.
- Ability to link items to chat so that someone can click that link and see the item’s tooltip… same for spells and anything else that has a tooltip. Currently dropping an icon in the chat box just prints out the name of whatever you were dragging.
- More useful information in stat tooltips. For example, I’d like to see when I hover over accuracy, what % the stat calculates to, or what % damage/enmity adds from strength.
- Make the threat list not be almost completely useless for threat management. Right now our only indication is this red or yellow ball that says if we have threat or not. I’d like some type of bar that shows my threat relative to the next highest person (when I’m a tank). Or relative to the tank when I’m any other class.
I agree with everything OP has up to this point :D here are a few of my own suggestions:
Add the option to remove the vision radius on the mini-map. For me anyways, it can be too bright and actually ends up covering certain map icons.
Add an option for gamepad users that allows them view ability information on the cross-hotbar by holding the button combination on the cross-hotbar, like when hovering over it with the mouse.
Example: Bootshine is set to R2+circle. If I hold R2+circle for 1.5 seconds, I want to be able to see Bootshine's ability information instead of actually using the skill, in the same way hovering over the icon with the mouse pointer works.
Finally, Market boards. Grant the buyer the ability to select how many of an item they buy. Currently if you only need one item but a seller is only selling what you need in a stack of 99, you have to buy all 99 from him or none at all.
It would be nice if there were a means to sort a specific armory view (i.e. head, body, weapon, etc.) so it could be ordered by level, or job, or even just closing up the empty spaces would be helpful for identifying new drops in your inventory.
I like it all...good list.
