Thank you Yoshi and team, you did a fantastic job. I love the game, and am here to stay. since EA I have had so much fun, exploring this vast world, and getting to know more of the story. The world, music, just everything is so beautiful. I look forward to seeing and growing with the development of this game, as new content is added.

Fantastic rebuild, I am captivated in a way 1.0 never came close to. Thanks for listening to our feedback. I don't regret purchasing the game twice, building a computer rig for 1.0 and upgrading it for 2.0. The wait has been worth it. Keep a cool head, work out the server kinks and know that your loyal fans will still be here months and years from now after all this fuss has passed while the blue in the face, angry nerds will be long gone and on to the next MMORPG, as usual.

I just wanted to say thank you to Yoshida and the whole team behind FFXIV. Not just for doing such a great job rebuilding XIV into something greater and enjoyable but also supporting the fans while rebuilding the game, giving constant support, updates and events. The moment I saw the video and Yoshida´s reaction I knew SE did a good job choosing him as Producer. Such a reaction shows how much heart he put into the game and how much he love it. Seeing a Japanese "official" cry at a interview and ringing with his tears is rare. Thank you again for everything Yoshida and the Team. Keep up that good work. Off to many more years with constant updates and fun on mass.

Yes there have been problems getting into the game, but once you're actually playing the ride is almost always as smooth as silk.
This game is the first MMO I've ever felt compelled to make a character that's an actual character, to want to have his story be a part of the world he is in!
If I could, I would draw up a picture of the trio that me and my friends play as on Hyperion and mail it straight to the dev office as a thank you!
...actually I might do that one day come to think of it.
I would just like to say I am greatly enjoying the game and I am looking forward to more additions and improvements to the game as time rolls by.
Thank you Yoshi P i have been a player since 1.5 and i enjoy paying back then you bring back my loving of mmo FF can only do this, i love the voice over's it's a change from text only MMO, I like fishing even though you weaken the money scale on it i can still make 100k doing it! I will be here till you make it to easy for everyone :)
Thank you for the wonderful reboot Yoshi P! I know there are problems with the servers right now, but I really like what I have played of the game thus far. You pulled off the impossible and made Final Fantasy XIV into a wonderful experience. Hopefully I will be able to meet you at PAX this weekend and get my game signed!

Thanks you for going through the hardwork of putting the game out, I really enjoy it and have gotten friends to enjoy it. Mistakes do happen it is the world of technology where even the slightest things can go awry and cause issues. This is no reason to be upset but rather just keep a vigilant eye on the status. At the end of the day what matters is I and others enjoy the game and look forward to what is coming out next.

I really care for my character and for all the story dialogue, I didn't think it would be this good!
I often find myself just stopping at looking at all the minor details to appreciate what has gone into the re-developement.
The battle system is extremley smooth and the pacing just right.

I want to thank Yoshi P. and the Dev team as well. I'm an original 1.0 player since the beginning. I said to my friends the only way to save the game was to scrap it and start over. And to my amazement this is what actually happened. This is a near impossible task and i don't believe it's ever been done before. And most especially in the short amount of time that it took. I even still doubted it would be ready by 8-27. Yet the game is here and is a vast improvement over 1.0.
Sure the game has problems. Like any game i've ever played when it was released. Unlike some i do remember the launch of other games and the problems they faced. I hope for and know that 2.0 will continue to improve and that the problems will be addressed and resolved.
Communication needs to be improved. Not seeing a tweet for over 16 hours during EA when a lot of us were having the errors trying to log in needs to be addressed. Overall communication in a timely manner is extremely important.
I wish to say, to Yoshi-P and his entire development team, who have worked for years to create a very high quality game to entertain people all over the world:

There are always going to be problems, naysayers, and whiners. There will always be headaches and troubles to face. The worst individuals are always the loudest. Please do not be deterred. It's clear to see the love, attention, and dedication that went into this project. I believe FFXIV:ARR will weather its current obstacles, which are merely issues common to many major product launches, and provide a fun experience for everyone for years to come.
You did a tremendous job, and I look forward to many adventures ahead in Eorzea.

I thank you for no less than rekindling my interest in video games as a form of entertainment. I have been a gamer for over 30 years but have for the last few years felt very uninterested in gaming. I thought this was because I was "growing out" of my lifelong hobby - I have a wife and children now and less time to play. I played version 1 of FFXIV from launch and whilst i was initially disappointed, you turned it into something worth playing even if it did not excite the way I used to be excited about gaming. With the release of ARR though you have turned me around. I feel like a kid playing frogger, space invaders and pacman again. Without doing anything particularly ground breaking you have created probably the best video game I have played in 30 years.
Now, please fix the damn servers, I want to get on and play :-)
While I do appreciate the work that went into the game, you've got a second chance here and have already started blowing it. The server issues shouldn't have happened at all, and should have been corrected day 1. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game, but we should all be able to play it together... there will be no 3rd chance.

Thank you for bringing us a fantastic game, that truly deserves its place in the 'Final Fantasy' series.
I was always dubious on if a Final Fantasy Online game would work or not, you've put those fears to rest with 'A Realm Reborn'. You have set a very high bar for upcomming MMO's such as Elder Scrolls and EverQuest Next.
I can't imagine how much hard work you and your team have put into this project, you have exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to playing with you for the next 5-10 years (if I can afford it lol).
Thank you Yoshi-P and the entire development team for this great game, ironically Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 was the only MMO other than Final Fantasy XI that I could stand to play for more than 3 months, and ARR is much improved, I've already set up my 90 subscription and I can't wait for what's next, I'll just be over here mining and gathering gear :D

Your game is the best MMORPG I have ever played, you and your team should be incredibly proud of what you have created! :)
When I received my Beta Key back in February, I was so excited to test this game and see the changes from version 1.0. From the first moment I stepped into the Black Shroud, I knew this was the game I would play in the years ahead.
Thanks to you I have met some amazing friends, created a community to play with everyday and rekindled a love for MMO's which was slowly fading.

I can post in the general forum! At least for now. Last time I got three, kind of like wishes. So I will use one of them on this thread as I think it is needed. Thanks Yoshi-P and the entire Dev team. We also have to include SE in this discussion as they had the balls to rebuild this game. Most companies would have let it die. Or gone to F2P and put in a cash shop and try to break even.

I just wanted to take the time to express my thanks to Yoshida and team for making a wonderful, exciting, beautiful world of FFXIV for us to play in.
I have been playing mmos since the launch of EQ 1 and played all the AAA mmos. I can say that you and your team have surpassed all and have created a master piece of art.
You and your team have created a standard that all others will be judged by. You should be very proud.
It is not your fault the Canadians bought the NA servers at a blue light special at Moose Mart....lol.
You should be proud, you honor is in tack and solid as granite.
You Guys Have done an AMAZING JOB! Just by playing through the story..... I can tell that you guys put your heart and soul into creating such master piece.

Yoshi worked hard and datacenter tweaking is to be expected.
I loved xi. THe story and depth kept me going. FFXIV 1.0 released and it didn't have the FF feel at all. They worked to improve it while working on ARR and did a good job with the limits..
XIV ARR has re-captured the XI orginal feeling while offering faster combat and fun. It's early with a lot of growth ahead and I am happy, despite login issues.

You guys turned a train wreck of a game into a true Final Fantasy game! The music, the sound, the artwork, the scenery, the gameplay, the GUI and whatever else I failed to mention is nothing short but perfection. There's always room for more improvement though and I look forward to every second of it!
