Same here! For a while I didn't know where to start. Now I am leaving all the quests for ACN and the other classes I haven't leveled (that much) yet, but because of that my Gil won't increase x.x Using my savings for teleport etc.

I am seriously interested how you, Vergil, look in Weaver gear o.o! I bet classy as hell!

I can now confirm, as I did it myself, Scholar 30 can queue as healer for 15-25 instances/dungeons, and actually does wonderfully at them. Well, Eos does, at least. Little fairy stole my job, I'm just nuking at stuff...

But I <3 her way too much to get angry at her. It's so fun to heal as Scholar! And the queue times? Instantaneous. Take that, 95m+ DPS queues!

I can't believe it's launch day already, man. I remember when everyone went happy-crazy for weeks when they announced 2.0.

Sleep only the bare minimum to function? I got my CE last night. Had to work so bribed a friend to go to the midnight launch and get it for me.

Enjoying the game so far. Only 'bad' for me is resisting my urge to go alt-happy (or in this game's case, job happy), before getting the main story quest perks.

Is the customer support hotline down? I've tried two numbers so far: 858-790-7529 and 310-846-0345, both give busy tones (all day, I understand it's closed now)! Yesterday I was on hold for 2 and half hours till I was disconnected, and I can never access an agent via live chat. (two hour queues all day) ;-; I just want to unify my accounts as I mistakenly created a second service account with my CE code. Already submitted two tickets~

If I buy a physical copy of FFXIV on PS3 am I stuck with it forever? Thank you

Did anyone else see that "Launch Trailer"? In LOVE with the music. I hope that last bit of music is the "Final Boss" theme. Sure feels "Final Boss" worthy.

You can upgrade for free to the PS4 when it's version is launched. Keeping your character and account. But gain a breathtaking visual quality improvement. You'll have to buy a PC version if you ever want to switch to the PC, but with your same account you can still keep playing your same character.

Best mancat reportin' in for the day. Almost 40ACN/SMN/SCH. I actually enjoy SCH more than SMN, which is funny because I'm not a big fan of healing jobs but do not mind playing one.

Regardless, I got a day off tomorrow and I'm going to spend the entire day getting to 50. Then I'll start my class/job quests that I so purposely ignored.

Oh man, just before maintenance we, the people of Balmung killed our server first Behemoth. I got a bronze medal since I got there when he was @ 20% and I forgot to take screenshots cause I was busy reviving the sea of dead bodies. I made it there just in time to watch Behemoth 1 shot at least 40 people in a single TP move before continuing his rampage in that snowy plain before a meteor took his life and sent him way of the dinosaurs. Maybe next time I'll be there sooner and I can get more pics and a better medal.

Oh and afterwards someone recognized me from the forum as THE Ambassador of Arts and made me feel special. :3

For the PS3, the code to register the game gets you yet another client download. I'm not looking forward to having to download 6 gigs worth of data again, and the couple gigs of patches again. Do I have to go through all that again to have my disk launch registered or am I missing something here?

If you have the beta 4/EA client, you dont have to. Just register the code in account management and when you boot the client up, itll go through linking it with your SE account.

Are you doing anything to share the positive energy of SGD within the game? If so, what?

I'm doing giveaways. There's an unspoiled level 50 harvesting spot in East Shroud that botanists can gather kidragoras (madragora minions) from at 9PM daily game time, and I tend to gather about 5 at once, then hand them out to people who respond to shouts. They aren't worth much (about 1k each) and I limit them to one per character, but it seems to make a lot of people more generally cheerful and hopeful.

There's less stress about servers and maintenance and being overwhelmed, etc, when someone does something nice for a stranger. Even if that something nice is just a wave, a smile, a kind word, an answer or anything else. It'd really be nice to know that there are such friendly and welcoming things going on everywhere so it seems like a perfect SGD topic ^_^
