Meteor Survivor T-shirt

You could quite easily get your own printed, then you could pick what material or style of t-shirt you'd like :) it's just a matter of getting that design..

Yes we could make our own with little difficulty but it would not be the same as an official piece of merchandise. Also those without the technical knowledge to make a vector and print it are out of luck unless you make no profit and would still be a grey area.

The point is that even though a lot of people have expressed their desire, none of those equal guaranteed sales, it would be a gamble on their part. If they went ahead and did it that would speak volumes to how they regard us as fans and supporters of their company.

I know I will buy atleast 1 if they put them up to sell max of 3 if I have the money for it. And I'm going to keep pushing for it.

By the way the issue with printing one of our own is that a lot of companies won't due to copy right laws. I know because a fellow ls member tried with our icon for our ls and since it has a chocobo and moogles in it they refused due to the copyright laws. >.<

That would likely be because they would be profiting from the printing, but you could screen-print your own with no issues, if you know how and have access to facilities. That just reinforces what I said above.

i redid the Meteor Survivor Tshirt using the logo from legacy and finding the font to match in photoshop, bought two black dress Tshirts for me and a friend and are having them made by a Custom Tshirt stall thats not far from where i live

This is just to tied me over until SE releases the real merchandise which i still plan on buying at least 2 shirts (since i have a 3rd one already). Still plan on supporting SE official release of them if they plan to do so but at least waiting will be easier.

I have a feeling that those who have orginally purchased and played the game, will be able to get the t-shirts. Seems to be hinted for a month or so. PRobably November prior to Xmas.

i haven't found any hints on that >.< and the devs are tighter lipped than... well we won't go into that deep of how tight lipped they're being.

This on a black hoody would be more proper and/or a polo shirt (white or black, the same). THe fact the there was only t-shirts give little expectations to the product. People would invest in a XIV product if marketed with good timing( but this is SE we're talking about, this is too far fetched!?)

I just thought I added more or my two-cents, As legacy members, we should get a free T-shirt and a choice of polo or hoody to order for price Crysta! Just an idea.

As many have said, besides being a nice "Thank You!" Nostalgia item, there's a few more reasons to consider selling this "Final Fantasy XIV Meteor Survivor" Black Shirt (and the White T-Shirt version):

• Profit for Square: We're not asking for free Shirts. We're willing to pay for them, so Square can safely manufacture and sell these Shirts without worrying that this would be a loss.
  • In fact, if you wanted to set this as a Pre-Order Item (and only manufacture after reaching a certain # of Shirts), that'd be even more of an "insurance" for you that your efforts wouldn't be going to waste (or have too many unsold Shirts sitting around unbought).

• FREE Marketing for Final Fantasy XIV 2.0: Think about it - EVERY Shirt you sell us becomes a *Walking Billboard* / *Advertisement* for "Final Fantasy XIV 2.0" and the relaunch. :)
  

• So even if you only had a few thousand Shirts sold to us, that's a few *Thousand* avenues to get the word out about "Final Fantasy XIV 2.0" to the world. When we go out, go to the store, go to school, go to the movies, etc. Wearing this Shirt would get awareness out there about the Relaunch!

• Grass Roots / Conversation Starter as well: Besides telling our Friends about it, wearing the Shirt can be a great conversation starter with strangers wondering about the game. Exactly this, I see no downsides to making them, we know there is demand so its relatively safe and I for one would wear it as often as I could, if people ask about it I could pitch ARR to them, taking some weight off SE's shoulders.

Again I try not to bump it alot but I really want to push this on them because it is as everyone's saying a great marketing strat as well as a good way to make some money. (I also wouldn't mind a Nael Van Darnus doll LOL or a pair of dalamud earrings would be awesome too in like silver)
