Was wondering would it be posible to have race exclusive animations made useable by all races and redone into a personality feature in character creation?
Something along the lines of where you pick a set for you warrior of light for example be able to have Viera use Au ra animations/emotes & sit poses.

Some FC's are small by choice, like mine where we only have 2-3 actively playing players. This makes tasks like the free company workshop hard to do due to the required party size and us just being a very small group of friends. Usually this results in us having to pay people to join a party and come to our workshop just to progress our creations.

Are there any plans or is it a possibility to remove the party restrictions on progressing creations in the workshop?

I figure given how long these things take to plan I may as well ask this now:

What are your current plans and thoughts on the implementation of high res textures and other graphics/character customisation options (touched on in this interview)? Can we expect to see any movement on this in time for 6.0?

Any new info on glamours for Summoner and Scholar pets? The white and black carbuncle would make good glamours.

On BLM:

1) As a long time BLM main, I was rather satisfied with how BLM has improved in 5.0, but I still feel the two new spells don't look awfully fantastic. Do you have any plans to revisit the visuals and sound effects for Despair and Xenoglossy?

2) Also, would you consider, in the future, reworking Aspect Mastery and Umbral Soul to be available at lower levels, as they smooth out the experience of the job considerably?

I do hope our turn for some elaboration on the rotation will come in 6.0.

Hi! I've been playing FFXIV since fall last year! Thank you so much for all the hard work when making Shadowbringers, the expansion was wonderful and I can't wait for what comes next in the story!

As for my question, are more customization options for Viera and Hrothgar being worked on? (Hats, more hairstyles, etc)

Without spoiling anything specific, can we please get an Orchestrion roll for the last half of the last area in Shadowbringers? It's in my opinion the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard from this game, and that's saying a lot considering how stellar the music's been in this game for years now. I know we get the first half of that area from FATEs/Bicolor gemstones, but I would love nothing more than the other half of that map's music as an Orchestrion roll

I first wanted to say that I love Shadowbringers and the team did an amazing job.

For my question I was wondering if we will ever see Squalls Final Fantasy VIII outfit make it in? It's quite different from the Dissidia design available in the game right now and I would love to see his classic baggy coat and pants with the large crossed belts and I know there is other people who would love to have the original available.

Any chance that Eureka is nerfed or the item level sync removed so few people can farm it? Since its empty now.

Will we ever receive opposing gender cposes for the "weapon out stances" for jobs? I would really like to use the "Kain Highwind Signature Pose" as a female character. That's the male Dragoon unsheathed idle cpose! I know alot of other people would like to have the female Dark Knight idle cpose as a male too!

As a quality of life, Is it possible to add on the tooltip for orchestrion rolls and triple triad cards some sort of indication if we already have it unlocked or a means to search through our orchestrion list

I know this is old content but considering you revamped Labyrinth of the Ancients role balance to 1 Tank 2 Healers 5 DPS not that long ago is there any chance you could move the platform that makes it so you can attack the Atmos further forward so that any ranged DPS sitting on the platform can contribute to that section to make it go by faster?

As it stands now unless the tank is running the adds back to the platform you have four people doing nothing and at times it forces any healers on the platform to run off of it to heal deactivating the platform temporarily.

I understand the intention to reduce RNG with the Astrologian’s rework, but with a class that’s all about fate and tarot cards, a little rng is important to the class’ fantasy. Another thing that’s important is the flavour of the cards: each one feeling unique, just like different tarot cards.

Is there any chance that we will see an Astrologian rework before 6.0?

(I really don’t want to wait until next expansion to play a class I really enjoyed but just don’t find fun right now. And it’s only partly to do with the general healer changes, a big part of my not having fun with AST at the moment is just because the gameplay no longer matches the class fantasy nearly as well)

With Final Fantasy VIII Remastered announced and releasing later on in the year, since Squall's dissidia outfit is in the game, available through veteran rewards, if there were plans to add his original FF8 outfit/and or hairstyle to the game to collaborate with the remastered release?

There have been lots of questions about if you plan to reverse some of the job changes that have upset so many players.

My question is: can you explain the decision making process for job changes?

For example: astrologians had issues with sometimes having to wait far too long to get the card they were hoping for due to RNG; how did you decide that making every card basically have the same effect was the solution?

With the removal of Gauss Barrel and eventual removal of the Garo collab, will there be more pistols you can obtain for Machinist like the Makai Hand Mortar?

What was the thought process behind removing the differences between Eos and Selene and practically leaving scholars lower than 80 with only one faerie? That totally seems to go against the whole summoning idea of arcanists.

What are your plans to improve the availability of healers in the duty roulette and/or improve the desirability to play healer classes?

Are there plans to add another healing class/job in the future?

Have you ever considered forgiving behavior strikes after a rolling period of time, say a year or so? The way things are now, your mistakes made nine years ago still matter today.

There's no way this'll get seen, I was too slow to respond unfortunately, lol. Oh well, maybe next time.

Will you be adding skills and complexity back into the classes (e.g. BRD's support)?

I am a Summoner main. Ever since the removal of main stat materia i have been wondering if there are going to be any modifications for us support summoners to physick. A friend of mine changed their post here recently in order to keep to the One question per post and i wished to expand upon it. I am mostly asking because of the fact that i noticed that Physick is no longer locked to both Scholar and Summoner as the exact same skill (it appears to be programed as Arcanist_Physick (for summoner and Arcanist) and Scholar_Physick (For solely Scholars))

My real question is.. With the splitting of Physick into these now two subspells. Are there any plans to change Arcanist_Physick's Formula to allow Physick to remain effective on Arcanist but still make it viable for Summoners that are alright with losing DPS in order to act as a more flexible class? Since Physick split. I always expected that the Arcanist version would be scaled on Inteligence instead of mind. But i am also wondering if there is a bug in the formula. It did always bother me a bit that Redmage got Vercure and it seemed to scale properly on RDM's stats. But summoner's Physick was never tweeked to get the same treatment.

I have been playing FF14 back since before the removal of Cross-class abilities and Attribute choices. And the loss of the small customizations that those allowed has bothered me. But up till 5.0 I have been able to at least work around the system and get physick to be viable with Mind Materia 6 and the Eureka gear having 5 materia slots. It is one of the few things that bothers me about summoner now that i am unable to do that anymore with the removal of Main stat materia.

I just find it kinda weird that it appears the dev team still wants summoner to have physick. but its not able to be used viably at higher levels due to it scaling off Mind instead of Intelligence. Especially now that its become two seperate spells. I tend to be more towards the survivability of the group in my playstyle over just outright damage output. But i tend to also find being a proper healer is stressful. While i could go to redmage to fill that role. Redmage never felt right to play for me and i always enjoyed the summoner abilities and asthetic far far more. I mostly just like the idea of DPS being able to assist healers and the party while they are recovering from a mistake that caused them to go down.

TL: DR for quickness sakes.
Will Physick be made viable for Summoners. and if not Why is the arcanist version still scaling on mind when it likely be fine as an Inteligence based ability.

Now that there has been changes to the way pet interaction works, will you consider looking at older Arcanist, Summoner and Scholar quests that for example emphasized Titan-egi tanking for you? The 30% health feels really inadequate and makes those quests a lot harder than they should be.

As a SMN player, I find that egi are a bit lacking on the damage department. Will there be a buff on ifrit and garuda's potencies?

Considering Scholars only have one fairy (minus the bahamut equivalent at 80), would you be willing to consider Feo Ul as one of Scholar's fairies? It would make sense story-wise since the two have a pact.

Given the influx of DDoS attacks more and more in recent years, will you consider making an adjustment to lobby server errors so that we aren't forced to completely restart the client and enter a new OTP and all that jazz again?

(i.e. an option that would just kick us back to the start screen after logging in to the client, for example)

Can Scholars get a "Feo Ul" fairy glamour (only visible in level 80 content to avoid spoilers)?

On the topic of healer utility, do you plan to continue WHM on this path of it's utility being through it's DPS throughput? Are you worried that players may begin to harass WHMs who choose not to take advantage of their damage potential?

Will there be any updates to the egi-glamour system?

I think with the new pet changes that Shiva and Ravana/Odin would make great glamours for the melee pet and that Leviathan and Ramuh would make great glamours for the ranged pet.

Will we be getting Carbuncle Glamours for SCH? As much as I love faeries I am quite partial to the Arcane critters so if it is possible please add Carbuncle glamours for Faeries!

1) Can we have the ability to open the crafting log while crafting? is there a reason we can't due to system limitation?

2) MORE Voice acting, I can't tell you how emersion breaking it is to go from CS to CS and have voice acting then no voice acting. With the success of Shadowbringers could we please see more voice acting in the future?

3) Could we get an update on how successful this expansion has been, as it relates to the future of FFXIV? Financially? Concurrent subs?

Are there plans to add glamour weapons of older primals for Dancer and Gunbreaker?

Maybe just for the iconic FF summons (Ifrit, Shiva, etc.) though I'd also love to see a MoggleMog dancer weapon with the music notes.

Bonus question: will there ever be crafted glamour weapons with special particles for the Stormblood primals like Suzaku and Tsukuyomi?

Any chances for male viera and female hrothgar?

First off, I want to commend the FFXIV team for releasing what was a very emotional, yet well written, well executed expansion. Everything about the MSQ had such an impact that I'm still reeling two weeks into the new content. Bravo!

A couple questions:

1.) I'm sure there might be others that agree, some that may not, but I loved the old Gunbreaker sound effects. It had a much more impactful feel than the current sound effects. Can we see an option to possibly have these swapped between the two? It might be more work than it's worth, but it was something I enjoyed, especially when pulling off the three-step combo.

2.) Regarding the FC chest. I can understand lore-wise that it's impossible for us to access the items in said chest on the First, but having to teleport back to the Source to dump items into it when we're doing things on the First (like crafting/gathering for instance) is a bit of an inconvenience. Will we see Feo Ul act as the go between for this? Maybe while in the retainer menu?

Considering there's places in Shadowbringers inaccessible to non-Lalafell players, would it be feasible to implement a Dwarf-transformation-potion to temporary grant players access to these places?

Transformation potions are popular in other mmos, and I'm sure people would enjoy temporarily turning into dwarves, moogles, monsters, etc.

First I wish to say thank you to yoshi, the tam and sq ex, for making this game and breathing the life they have into it, my question is would the team consider making a Cerberus mount, whether its mogstation or not?

Is there any chance that Fey Wind may be added back to Scholar to give them more utility? I love all the existing changes to pets and I find myself wishing they had even more abilities now that I'm manually casting them more often.
