Someone suggested to me that the randomize appearance button creates some truly magical viera, so I've gathered some of the most elite in an awful mspaint collage so their beauty is not lost to the world. I even gave them names.

Perhaps someone can take inspiration from the good points of this bunch, which are all probably in a very dangerous gang together.

If I had money to waste, I'd love to play the "click 10 times, and fantasia to whatever you land on" game with my friends ;)

What I have noticed is that Viera is poaching players from all races. Miqote and Au Ra players are going Viera because its cute, Elezen players are going Viera because they look tall and elegant, Roes and Highlanders are changing to Viera because of some of the fiercer faces (and again, tallness). I think Viera will quickly be the most populated race. :P

My laptop is so bad that the benchmark looks sort of weird when it comes to certain graphical designs. (The weirdest part is that things didn't look this bad in the Stormblood benchmark.) So I'll give you a cursed Viera.

I use Gyazo for mine. I have to manually select the area I want to capture but it works in a pinch.

They don't look fierce at all. None of their faces look like they would strike fear into anybody lol.

Only thing they are is just tall and cute because they have a really cute waifu look and a sexy because resting B***h Face.

You would need to use something like windows paint to open it and then save it, and Ive used fraps

If you're using a Windows-friendly keyboard (and the Windows Operating System, obviously), you can take screenshots by holding the Windows Key (between Left CTRL and Left ALT) and pressing the PrtScr button. This will save the screenshot in User -> (Name) -> Screenshots.

SE doesn't care when the modded screens appear in the other threads, and several of the screenshot contest winners had obvious reshade usage. They don't really care about it, especially in regards to reshade.

I going to disagree with you. I planned to fantasy into Viera (from fem highlander) until I tried the character creation. They don't look fierce at all, in fact, the main vibe I'm getting is "Victoria Secret model".

I also have to disagree. While I think a ton of people will try Viera, I also suspect that a lot will fantasia back. They aren't petite as Au Ra and are not as cute-sexy as Miqo'te. They are tall (which is already a big point for a lot of people) and feel somewhat reserved/classy in their emotes, way less expressive than the smaller races.

I did some minor tweaks on my viera (different ear type, added similar makeup to my roe's, changed lip colour etc.). Uuuuuurgh, I'm so conflicted. On one hand, I've wanted to play viera ever since FFTA, but on the other I'm so attached to my roegadyn and especially her seawolf name that I've started to use as my virtual name everywhere else. I'm one of those twerps who has to have lore-friendly names and RP backgrounds. @_@ I already have a XII-styled viera name in mind (a blather of soft consonants), but it doesn't feel like me.

I get that feeling too, since I did so much of the story as my Au Ra with this specific face. Sure, I didn't start as it (I didn't have heavensward, started as highlander), but when I got it I fantasia'd to an Au Ra first! I did the story, and my cutscenes as it. Before Stormblood I was a Miqo'te and I switched to Au Ra during the story. I still remember, as my Au Ra doing the Kojin beast tribe quests and they mentioned my horns (if I am remembering right), and I thought just that little mention was so cool! With how personal, and emotional the story is in this game, it is natural to become attached to the character you play. If you really feel that way, and are story oriented I can tell you, as a fantasia addict, you will probably switch back sooner, or later. When I came back from a year long Hiatus I had previously switched to Miqo'te again. I immediately switched to Au Ra, then when I caught up after awhile I switched to the Miqo'te I was for the past couple months. I was that cat for about 5 months, but I had taken another break, I only really played it for a couple months (the redhead I used to post here as). I did a bit more catch up in the story after the next hiatus mid Jan-late April/May, and it just didn't feel right doing the story as it. It felt like I wasn't playing my character.

Even with how excited I am to become Viera, I don't know if I will stay. I want to, I think they are prettier than my little Au Ra, but I can honestly say I don't know if I won't just switch it right back. I do have an alt, that WILL be a Viera, no doubt. I hardly play it though, it's more of a fluke than anything else. Like having it just to have it, it doesn't feel the same. If you really feel that way, maybe you shouldn't switch - at least for the story of ShadowBringers - but then again if you really want to play Viera over your main race, what better way to grow attached to it? At the very least, she would make a great alt (if you are into having alts)! Of course, if you don't mind spending hundreds of dollars on fantasias you can be like me! :o
