It just pains me to even have these pseudo-arguments with Coglin/TheVedis... for them to even begin speaking on the topic, they have to be explained the basic things RPers know from being part of this specific community. They have to hear that out, and understand that, and /then/ with that knowledge state their case w/o the gimmicks they have been using.

That is why it makes NO sense in really even replying to them, they are simply too willfully ignorant on the subject. Their posts in this thread have showed that they are in no way interested in finding solutions. They don't have the interests of our community in mind, they're simply looking for a response. Think about it... this thread has little to do with them at all. You should question with all that was said, why they're still even paying attention to it.

Its our server in which RPist play on now. That alone makes it our business.

You and your comments of this nature are exactly what has darkened the over all mentality of all player views of RPist after this thread.

Not to mentioned, what happened to the previously made comments about how your folks were not looking for special treatment or a special server? You only pushed for your server for your cause, not for servers for various other players and there reasons.

Do not hide your seperatist stance, personal attacks, and general hate for anyone with a different perspective then you under the guise of the community. Had that even remotely been the case, this would have had nothing to do with RPist, but the need to guide players of various outlooks, ideas, and languages.

Maybe it's good that RP gamers are differentiated like they want it and hopefully it brings many new gamers to that server, too. So what's the next ? PVP server where pvp is free everywhere with slightly better guns/armor. Water world where fishing is competition and everybody have small own boat. Eagle planet where you can fly with chocobos and shoot from the back. And free right to change server whenever you want.

And, no, I'm not saying you're trolling for having a different opinion. I'm saying you're trolling because you used a classic troll tactic.

You came into this thread. You skimmed over the posts and identified several of the major players (it wasn't necessary to clearly know what they were posting since what you were about to say would most likely be contradictory anyway). You then specifically picked out me (a light RPer), Tessa (another RPer), Oskar (a heavy RPer), Rhomagus (a non-RPer but friend to the community) and Brigandier (a non-RPer and non-friend to the community). Five people with different points of view. You then said that we should be exiled to our own server with all the other 'haters' and 'bigots'. You picked random inflammatory terms, hoping to get a rise out of us. But what actually happened was a whole lot of crickets chirping and people looking at you oddly.

Again, the forum mods deleted it (and a couple of the responses that quoted it) because it was inappropriate, so I can't link it, but if you start reading here, you'll find a few responses that remain. Nobody flamed you for your opinion, but they did get defensive over your blanket insults.

I'm not a separatist, since I have stated more than once I would much prefer that Balmung be granted a RP server tag and be done with it. I would love to see our community stay together, RPers and non-RPers alike. All the official designation does is make it easier for other roleplayers to find the community and give those opposed to a RP environment fair warning that they might want to choose another server. But TheVedis has been very vocal about the fact they believe it's unfair that they should have to transfer because they're uncomfortable with an official tag (believe it or not, I begrudgingly respect that opinion even if I don't agree with it). And given the route being taken with Ragnarok, SE may see it that way, as well. While a new server isn't my preferred option, it's what I will choose if that's where the RP community is going to go.

I have flung no hatred or insults. I haven't bashed you for your opinion (can't say the same for you, however, as 75% of your posts on these forums call people fools, idiots, morons, stupid, or other such demeaning names). Of course, I do appreciate that you posted something positive about the RP community. But I will tell you the same thing that I told TheVedis, those positive remarks are quickly invalidated by a few choice insults.

Thse posotive remarks were all I had to say until several RPist that you claim to represent began flinging the exact words you claim to be angry at me for.

RPist claimed no one was asking for a segregated server as well. Over and over those claims were made. The more post were quoted to you folks, the more you denied it (why the lye and deception on the point? I will never understand.)

So, in short, thanks to our lovable Malboro Bayohne for his response to the thread, looking forward to transferring with the majority of the RP community and most likely some non RPers who wish to come join us for the atmosphere aswell.

Actually being a furry and roleplaying are two different interests, but furries often roleplay. Many don't though, unless you want to say they are 'playing the role' of a furry, but if you say that, then every actor out there is a roleplayer and the term sort of loses its meaning. Also, some furries actually think of themselves as part animal or animal aspected (I'm not really sure what words to use, I don't know a WHOLE lot about furries but I've had some furry friends in the past) so to them it's not pretending or playing a role at all.

So basically, roleplaying and being a furry are two completely different things, but there are furries who are also roleplayers.
