Eureka CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions thread - no negativity

I don't see any point in suggestions. By the time any get implemented for this tier, everyone will be 20 that wants to do it, and the content will be more or less dead. Already you can go into an instance and see maybe 75% of players are mid teens and higher, and low level anything is empty. They can't change it in time to fix the problems before players get all they need and wait till the next eureka.

You can suggest for future tiers, but eh. They do what they like, mostly.

See, the difference is that: Eureka is Atma + Alexandrite with a side of Light-farm griding. I'd have no qualms if they added an NPC which gave you maps for loot boxes. Or interacting with various random points of interest sent you to s space where you had a certain time to interact with objects for crystals.

I am not only "simplifying it" I am "diversifying it" adding substance. Some others have pointed out an internal hunt board to kill a few for rewards and exp.

I NEVER had things this easy when I tried to farm atmas... or having to endlessly grind tomestones to afford unidentified materials, or sand, or "insert a large number of specific fetch items". This is EASY content already. Almost laughably so. The fact that people who haven't spent a great deal of effort on the content are nearly DONE with it, tells you they need to slow it down a bit. This time last relic, people were barely getting the first "upgrade" component complete - let alone the whole weapon.

Absurdly fast doing the nm pain train? Might as well made these in the open world and "bring the life" back to old content. Its literally the same as atma farming, just all in one map and easier. Again, difficulty is not the true point of contest, its substance and diversity.

An increase in the spawn timers for NMs would mean that with the same amount of lockout, higher level players would seek out a better use of their time and try to spawn the more valuable NMs that were "worth more". Allowing those who benefited from chaining on lower mobs to work on those separately. NMs should be a rare treat. Not the expected norm.

I agree with this. It's rather unpleasant there there is nothing that culls people who are actively NOT participating.

What would be interesting is a pop item drop (key item) forced spawn NMs designed for 8man parties. The NM is immediately claimed by the system to said party and no one outside that party can engage the NM. They can utilize NM designs of trash mobs not tied to triggering the World NMs.

This would also have players utilizing the zone, players are more spread out on the map based on their party's lvl.

Example: Flan mobs (not tied to a World NM spawn) have an increased chance of dropping a key item via chains. Said key item is used to pop a Flan NM rewarding the party upon defeat higher xp, Anemos Crystals, and lockboxes.

I wonder if they didn't went with anything else but levelling in fear that other activities would be in conflict with the levelling aspect of it.
I mean I don't think so but we'll see when they update the lockboxes on the 27 I suppose

For content like this, I wish the Dev Team after a 2 week period. When everything is figured out by the community to make a statement regarding their intention of how the content was to be played. I think it opens the door to providing even better constructive feedback by the community.

Making the subsequent parts more accessible doesn't mean anything if people are still turned away by the first part.

When opening an excess amount of lootboxes, provide an additional option to "Ignore all future loot of X type" similar to how you can toss and ignore catching X type of fish.

So for example if you get a piece of Anemos Glamour gear and you already have it, you can click the option to ignore it then for the rest of that lootbox opening round all future Anemos Glamour of that type will be discarded.

4/8/24 rule. When designing future challenges for Eureka give the option to allow the following group sizes to tackle it. 4 for casual/small groups, 8 for statics and 24 for large Free Companies.

This game lacks substantial content for large Free Companies and Eureka was an opportunity to allow that, you went a step back by removing the ability to allow an alliance of members into the same instance with ease like with Diadem.

If you are still working on the mechanics for the next Eureka, consider the option of allowing players to actually challenge themselves, while yes you can leave the option for Zergs to exist, provide three other options, 4 party, 8 party and 24 party all with their own increased rewards for overcoming the boss with said party size setup.

I don't think that they will really add anything on the 27th tbh, but I've been thinking that realistically speaking since ppl follow the NM train, if there were some quests that required some off targets there might've been problems in doing them

Yeah, at the earliest bigger fixes or additions could be made in the next patch. They could still work on smaller ones like they are with the lockbox loot table, but beyond that...just have to wait. They may or may not do anything though. Sadly, it's hard to say with this dev team.

Diversity, or Substance. Doesn't matter. You can add whatever you want to the system, but ALL rewards and ALL experiences need to either be reduced in frequency (NMs), reduced in speed of completion (increase NM HP or defense), or reduced in terms of reward outcomes (crystal drops, exp, whatever). Go ahead and add whatever extra nonsense that you feel will liven your gameplay experience - but you're not forced to be there. Go queue for a dungeon - its not like missing out on Eureka for an hour or two is at all difficult to recover from. As it stands, this process is TOO FAST. Killing NMs is too fast. Leveling up is too fast. Getting enough crystals for an ENTIRE UPGRADE SEQUENCE FOR MULTIPLE WEAPONS is too fast. Fine make it "more entertaining" all you want. But it's gotta slow down or noone will be doing it in a week because they've all aged out.

Again. I feel like we've gotten the nerfed version already. They were so far behind on the release of this, it feels like they've given us the hand holdy version of Eureka to get as many people caught up to their timeline as they can before releasing the next 20 levels. Like they've intentionally increased spawn rates of NMs and increased the drops and XP to get a critical mass of people ready for stage 2.

This would be a whole hell of a lot better, and actually fall quite a bit more in line to what Abyssea was like. (No clue why people are saying it's like Abyssea now... it's nothing even close)

Make it so can use your mount and have your chocobo able to help you at all levels. Another thing they need to add is multiple channels to help relieve the congestion there like they have for Ixion fate. Another thing that help out a lot add more fates and always have more than one up at a time. Very hard now to even get to one when they last less than a minute.

No Mounts at all.
Death Penalty lowered to 10%
Crystal at chain 10, 20 and 30. + RNG
1 minute immunity on fate after engaged.
Full EXP from Taged mob regardless if someone else comes and hits it.
Lower max people in instance from 144 to 96 or 120
