I want the finger point that Zhloe and now M'Naago (in custom delivery) do to emphasize their words in cutscenes. I noticed the WoL also did it in a new 4.1 MSQ cutscene.

Actual /sleep emote that can be done anywhere. Also new poses for sleeping(just share all of them with all races).

I have a bearskin rug in front of my fireplace. I'd like to be able to lie down on it without having to use the /playdead emote.

+1 for a persistent /kneel, and more persistent emotes in general.
Also for next years' All Saint's Wake, give us an off brand Thriller dance!

i would kill to have that /fan emote you see some npcs use when it's hot outside.

also second persistent /kneel! would also like a squat emote that isn't the one from the squadron, but something similar to how the sanguine sirens sit in limsa.

I'd like that, and also the ability to lean on railings.

A sit-and-read emote would be wonderful! I love using the arcanist's 'read' emote when I'm stepping away from the game, or going through menus, and it would be nice to be able to do that while sitting instead of having to find a spot where it doesn't look strange to be standing and reading.

Perhaps instead of having to request specific persistent versions of emotes, there could just be an ability to make any emote persistent - either type into the command bar as (say) "/emote p" or have it in the options when you right-click/press Square on it in the menu.

EDIT: Similar to the 'sit and read' idea, I would also love it if my weaver could sit and sew! Preferably without the angry face you make with each stitch when crafting....

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but similarly to how characters talk when using chat, how about playing the linkshell emote (hand to ear) when typing in a ls or fc channel?

Race only dances put on loop, why they have yet to be is beyond me since every other new dance is made to do so.

Opposite gender weapon rest emotes. Female Dark Knights rest their weapons much better than males, also not every female Warrior needs to use both hands to rest their axe on their shoulder, most Roegadyne, Highlander, females look to have more strength and ability than their male counter parts.

More job specific emotes, for example for DRK (my main) i would like a pacing emote much like the one Darth maul uses in the Phantom Menace.

kiss/ cuddle/ sit on lap/ etc emotes.

i miss some emotes to sit together with people, or holding hands etc.
sure this is roleplay stuff, but it wont make the game worse to have option maybe other player have fun with. so when you dont have fun with it you shouldnt say NO. bcs you dont have to use it and u shouldnt ruin the fun of other with it.

Something simple that I'd like to have added: a "greet" emote that uses the same animation as "goodbye", but with different accompanying text, so you don't have to use the big "wave" emote to wave hello to someone.

Sorry for the unneeded reply, but if you still want the adjust glasses emote, you can have Bryadin (The guy from Hildybrand's quest, sorry I forgot the name) quest in jeweled crozier.

I want characters to tilt and scratch their head in confusion. So much more understandable than that mafia-style "Ehhhhh!" you get when doing the "confused" emote.

Kind of like /examineself; /checkweapon and /checkarmor.

/checkweapon takes your weapon out and you run your hands on it, making sure it's good to go, it's nice 'n sharp or your staff isn't cracked (I think this one even exists. I thought I saw an NPC in Revenant's Toll checking his dagger in a Crocodile Dundee reference). /checkarmor takes your hand and makes sure your armor/clothing is snug: your pauldrons are on right, your belt is fastened, pants are near your waist.

Not necessarily an emote, but I'd like to see the ability to use walk/run/jump in /gpose.

Perhaps some sort of character toggle like the spell effects.

Heck, maybe even add the list of emotes to a toggle, so I can enter gpose, select someone, then select an emote I'd like them to use, and repeat for all people in my picture.

Rather than having to ask people to do certain emotes, just be able to assign them.
