You think that's bad? Someone in Blade & Soul spent $10,000 on RNG boxes to get an outfit. He didn't get it.

Eh...7-11, maid outfit yadda yadda. Life will go on, JPonry-exclusive or not. Call meh when they pull this for the red lala-sized man-thongs.

I'm going to be a hipster and wear the maid outfit (if it ever comes mind you) once it falls out of popularity a whole server of maids who's names are the only way to tell one miqote from the next.

today i saw "New optional item" and thought it is maid dress up in mogstation, but... not... sad... /cry

Honestly speaking the mogstation could use expanding in the costume department.

There are a lot of other MMOs (mostly F2P ones) that make the mogstation look positively pathetic in terms of options.

Mostly because money shops are the heart and core of F2P games. It is their main income, not just a bonus income like in this game.

That's kind of the point. There is a $10-15 mandatory fee to access the game most of the time unlike some F2Ps. Most of the costumes are in the actual game.

They finally added the korean minions (of course in Mog station....) so we might see them soon :)

They didn't add the Korean and Chinese server outfits though... :X

Just want to make a note that Yoshida told us at PAX that he dislikes region specific content and will be making an effort to make all glamours available in closed regions open to all regions (China and Korea specific items currently). So the glamour items will be coming soon(tm).

But you only have to pay once for the game after that you can play it for free ^^. So they kinda need the cash shop to be able to survive. And unlike SE's cash shop you don't need to buy a whole outfit ;) you can only buy the head or the legs and you can dye it. So in the end I think the outfit prices from SE are much more expensive since we already pay a monthly fee and can only buy the complete outfit and cant even dye them. But yes people will spend a lot of money in a cash shop.

Hopefully we will get those maid/butler outfits in the mogry shop. :/ Otherwise I will never be able to get them because I am living quite away from any big city. (And its not even sure if our country would have this product they would choose)

Yep, seems like the article has been updated to include NA only. It's a shame, but not a huge deal for me personally with the glamour introduced this patch (and the pig costume!).

That's some great news. I just wish they would release the promotion details already instead of creating more hype by giving some info to other sources first. But I guess knowing they will come next week is much much better than not knowing anything at all. I just wish there were more details since the article is awfully vague.

So we have to spend around $20 on Amazon on "qualifying" items to "unlock" these items?

I was not expecting Amazon at all. I guess depending on what qualifies, they probably won't run out of stuff if it's stuff like digital SE games.

I'm secretly hoping for something digital so that it doesn't run out and I wouldn't have to pay extra for shipping and whatnot for things I don't really want. But at the same time, I can see people wanting physical items since JP people got physical items (although water.. lol). Here's to hoping they have both physical and digital options.

If the 7-11 JP promotion is any indication, it would likely be NA region-locked, meaning you'd have to have an NA account to take part.

i wonder if buying documentaries in amazon still count or does it have to be a bulk buy lol

Oh well people who want to shell out real money for this kind of stuff have their own problems too I guess. I order stuff off amazon rather frequently so I'm probably bound to get a code depending on what the items they want us to purchase are.

Guess it will be a early Christmas for a few company members I have no interest in items purchased outside the game I could technically just sit on the codes I guess but may as well give them to someone who wants them and make them not have to pay for it.
