show your au ra!

I've seen a few people post photos of their male xaela that show the white in their eyes but when I make my character it's only black. How can I change this?

I use Imgur aswell to upload my pictures. When I got a picture uploaded I right-click the picture and View Image to make it into its own tab, from there I just copy the URL, and when posting (here on forum) I click the small picture above the text-window named "Insert Image" when hovering the mouse over it. There I insert the URL, and done.

Seems like there will be a lot less miqo'tes when the expansion comes out.

In males it'll be hard to see unless you get really close. Same for the females. For the male one I posted I turned the iris white and then made the Limbal ring white as well.

I've not looked into that, but maybe it's different between faces on how white the eye is?

I'll probably tweak her colors and hairstyle as time goes on. I'm happy with her features, though (Except maybe that weird line on her chin... what is that? It's no dimple).

I wouldn't count on that just yet. We'll definitely see a significant drop in 3.0 but I think a lot of people might fantasia back or change again.

I know I'm on the fence and based on some feedback I don't know if I'll see myself staying Au'Ra.

Its ok, however there are a lot of races and differences.

I'm confused as to what you're referring to to as it sounds like you're talking about limbal rings. This is what limbal rings are:

first one is if I make a male at any point, then a darker girl for dragoon/dark knight
and the one I personally think I will wind up playing first from 1-60 as white mage~

The diff I think, is the clan - the Xaela have the black in the eyes (outside of the Iris/Limbal ring) whereas the Raen (like in your pic) don't have the black they're referring to (at least, I believe that's what they're referring to...)

Correct, thank you. And when I glance through screenshots posted here some appear fairly close to white yet when I make a xaela the sclera is pitch black. Even when I use similar/same eye colors.

Depends on the clan you pick for Male Au Ra. Xaela have black.

Yea, thanks for digging deeper, that's probably what's throwing me off since in some photos I've seen they look almost white. Kinda lame the female xaela eyes have white scleras and the men have black, kinda wish I could make it white.

I dunno, I kinda want to stay away from using the face in the second image since it seems like everyone is using it...

I thought I'd like Xaela a lot more but their black sclera make a lot of eye colors look weird.

So I decided I much preferred the darker skin and lighter hair, and messed with my raen save as well...now Im not sure which I prefer.

Au Ra in general, I think I like the dark scales, but feels like the light ones go better with this particular character. I like things a bit more subtle, and the dark contrasts too much. Wish there was some gradient colours or plates for the horns like on the males ): Maybe it will come with launch

I will probably go with this. Not that creative yes but I like it and it kind of looks like my character now. For whatever reason I really like the first hairstyle the best. I love the white scales and horns. Like the backwards facing horns so I don't poke people.

This is what I could manage. The race seems alright as male if you screw with it for a while, but I can't seem to make a female that looks different from the rest.
