I really like this idea!
All of the deities have some sort of trait associated with them so an altar for one of the twelve to receive a buff makes sense to me.

So, I don't know if this has been suggested here, but I late to the party and had a thought. I get that implementing screenshots as pictures for the house is probably too much, butwhat if you had a contest to design paintings or pictures to be made available?

You already have screenshot contests with nearly every seasonal event, why not make ingame pictures out of these that players can buy to hang in the house?

I believe they are adding more housing instances in 2.3.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not in the pages of posts, but I feel if SE can figure out a way to increase the server load/limit... Can we please be allowed to purchase additional floors (with in-game gil)? Like either a second top floor or second bottom floor, and so on.

I'd like this request because as more housing items get added into the game, not everyone wants to have to keep swapping out items that are already in place to make room for the new items. I hope this will be taken into consideration. :)

this won't do any good unless the item limit is increased... with our large house capped at 200/200 we can't add any more items... it sounds like a good idea though... but not very easy to implement without higher item placement counts

Please allow us to use beds placed in our homes like the Inn and if there is any ways to make it a benefit of doing so maybe add a boost to "rested bonus" when we do it inside of our home rather than what we would get from the inn as well. I mean they are doing that whole thing for people that repair their own stuff to get a 199% repaired armor why not give a 25% boost to rested bonus when you use a bed in your house.

Yeah. I failed to mention the item limit increase, but assumed that was a given if you were to get additional floors.

housing request?, or a couple of ideas for more furnishings, like a indoor marketboard inside the house since you can place a summoning bell.
as for outdoor furnishing wondering, if it's possible to make furnishing / trees like what was presented at the little ladies day event.

indoor market boards i think is a no no … where they are placed are just fine besides if you want to get to know your neighbours its great is also great way of bringing the community together

I started doing research on Interior Decorating. (to implement requests from my FC for the house) Zen is a popular style that's foundations lay in the Japanese tradition of simplistic, balance and unity of nature and man. Functionality and ability to multi-function are also important. Simplistic design is proving to be more challenging with the walls. anyways....

Could we get a blank Paintable (dye) White wall option. Both Interior Walls and Partitions.

We need a LOT more interactive furniture that's for sure.

Please please please give us the ARMOIRES! I'm tired of going to an inn just to store some items or take them out of the armoire! I have a house and I should be able to access my wardrobe from INSIDE my house! :(

Also is it possible to have the junkmonger sell dark matter? I like to self-repair and most "dye merchants" in towns sell dark matter - but the junk monger in a house just sells dyes and garden patches making him pretty useless. I don't want to replace him with the repair NPC since like I said I prefer to self repair.

So I just turned our basement into a crafting area complete with all the vendors and a summoning bell. We have a medium house and I discovered while making the crafting stations that we can only have 6 of them. Not sure why we can't have the other two, especially when I took the time to level my crafting to master just to be able to make them. I'd much rather put useful furniture into the house then gimmick stuff. So to be able to really complete this room I'd like to see:


- crafting station limits removed
- craftable marketboard for the house
- customizable vendor appearances
- medium house item limit raised ( I redesigned the interior more efficiently but it still lacks in some areas)
- ability to have more than one chest in house at a time
- more variety in fireplaces
- ability to retrieve ceiling lights without destroying them
- larger furniture crafting preview (can never tell what something looks like until after I craft it)
- the ability to mirror furniture when placing (L-shaped couches are good example)
- and a hired FC vendor to locally sell company made goods from a stall outside the house

Can we get different sized partitions? Maybe one not as wide as our current one (half the width, even), and one that is a bit longer. Given each partition takes up a item slot in the house, it can help to have longer ones for those makeshift wall-crazy folks.

Don't forget we also need partitions that actually matches the current wallpaper for that floor :D

Since we're gonna get private rooms/housing, maybe a invitation system so your friends can see your room? also, for inn rooms, your lover should be allowed in your inn room lol when 2.4 drops (I think that's the marriage update?)

With the announcement of the lab/workshop/basement mad scientist lair I would like to see maybe master version of crafting stations that assist not only those leveling the class by those that have capped it as well.

it would be nice if we could fund our fc vendors so they will have access to better materials to sell us or at least be able to hire better vendors. Also wouldn't mind having an outside furnishing we would get materials from daily such as having various trees for botany, or various rocks for miners, ponds for fishers. I imagine it could be a high level craft for alchemist, they can already make different trees, and rocks, ect.

Well, we have Tonberry themed furniture, carbuncle, haukke manor, grand companies, morbol, sylph, etc. I would love to have "space themed furniture". A set for bathroom, for kitchen, for living room, library, bars, outside garden...the could be even game themed like "little ladybug kitchen set" or a "Apkallu Bathroom set". And more space for mansions =[ You can't even have much space for creativity without leaving some other space almost empty. Medium and Small houses looks like stuffed without even using max capacity.

We need a Hildibrand portrait where his facial expression keeps changing with a similar size to the GC leader portraits.

While that sounds awesome can we PLEASE get an increase in the amount of items all houses have? It's simply not enough and we can easily fit more things in them :(

I second this... @_@ I would kill to be able to place more furnishings inside and outside of my FC house.

I want a deck chair a beach umbrella and a little side table with a drink on it as outdoor furnishings. I wanna relax in the front garden of my beach house in style! D: also make a /sit emote for deck chairs, don't see why this wasn't in from the start.

I want some taller plants, maybe small trees or something for indoors. If you don't want to have a tacky themed plant in a goofy cartoonish looking vase then there are maybe, what, four big potted plants to choose from? I like the idea of Japanese inspired furnishings. If the selection is wide enough I'm going to be removing a ton of furnishings and replacing them with that sort of stuff.

Rubber ducks (animals) in the bathtubs.
Fish-tanks (Aquariums)
Birdcage.
Music Box (House themed music) / Jukebox
Sparkly shiny things!
Treasure box full of gold, gems etc.

I want exterior housing graffiti

In large housing on the second floor, there is a door that leads out to the balcony. Some people create obstacles to get up on the balcony out in the front yard using furniture. I don't believe this is what the balcony was meant for. Was it a design flaw that they added a door that cannot lead outside to the balcony? Is there any possibility that the developers can look into this and add an instance bubble that exits out to the balcony like it is meant to be?

mimic and clockwork bug mimic items. For instancea mimic free company chest where you can activate it to have its mouth open, and for the clock work but some ground lighthing that when activate stand up in aggro stance.

Can we please have more space? If you are releasing more furniture please give us more space :)

Allow us to turn on/off the lights in the house.
