and THIS SE is how you kill your game you'll make super hard encounters that require exact movement...and then kill them with your poor lag design.....give it a little while enough people will say fuck it and leave the higher lvl I get the more I say it.....I can only down some bosses on pure luck not skill just luck that the lag gods get where I am standing and not where it thinks I am
with EVERY boss having a aoe or something that will almost if not kill you in one shot this should be the FIRST THING YOU FIX!!!!!!!! FORGET EVERYTHING EVERYTHING ELSE FIX YOU SHITTY LAG NOW!!!!!!!! OR YOUR GAME WILL DIE AND YOUR MONEY WILL DISSAPEAR NO ONE WILL PAY FOR A GAME WITH SHITTY SERVER LAG.
Easy way to see this lag is to cast teleport to somewhere then move immediately after you hit cast, see how far the time went down before it canceled. You don't get charged gil until the teleport completes so don't worry about that. I regularly have .4-1sec counted to before interrupted, this needs to be fixed!
Am currently on Ridill legacy.
During Garuda Hm i had to be raised twice due to aoe which on my screen i was out of and hiding safely next to my teamates.
When the aoe hits 2 seconds later, i get hit for xxxx and drop dead right there in between them....
How about the swiftcast button.... that is great with this lag.. sure it works but after what?? In between the sleep being clicked and the mob sleeping i eat 3 aoes from them.. So much for instant cast with this type of lag.
Some of the videos linked on here are exactly what happens to me in many dungeons, the best example is the one linked with the Titan fight where the player moves out of landslide and still gets 1 shotted off.
Now, how the hell do you expect to get past a boss that has a lot of mechanics which requires you to be 'on the ball at all times' while fighting him with lag like that???

I have to agree... all week there's been lag spikes and delays and "fast Forwarding" and pausing and well.. it's just making each dungeon impossible.
Started last Sunday, I guess they are having memory issues server side??

The encounters are NOT in themselves super hard, the lag makes them so ;)
