Persistence has generally paid off for me, as well - But today, I'll persist for a bit, then get the "NA/EU cannot be updated" response. Personally, after already kicking myself in the butt for not maintaining a sub during the Legacy period, I'm willing to relax and have some of the patience I didn't have for 1.0.
