How valuable is the hardcore opinion?

@Bled may i ask what type of content you like to see? How long do you want to give on an giving Content? How many members do you want it to take to take down such content? At which level do you want content for and for each one how long do you think it should take?

am asking cuz i want to know your option on this matter.

I haven't given a direct opinion on the matter because i am waiting to form one. Until they roll the upcoming content that sports both 4man and 8man dungeons i reserve any criticism on that said topic and choice of development.

I just cant stand seeing people come in her and think a game should either be for all casual or all hardcore, which to begin with are stigmas and labels like i all ready explained. Hardcore should mean the person has a lot of play time on their hands, were as casual means they need to play in 2-3 hour blocks. These stereo types i see embedded in everyone's posts that state all hardcore players are elitest, and all casual players are noobs are getting old FAST!

Like i said am not this type of person, I only use labels so players understand what am saying. Casual by all means are not Noobs. But yes there Stereo that hardcore are very Elitist even i am not that hard core i played FFXI for 6years and took me two years to get 75 even tho i play more then 8+hours a day. I only start to get really into ffxi when i meet my gf and we start doing NM,HNM, and got done with COP and got myself good gear. I use up most of my time talking and helping out noobs which just start out in the towns of sandy. I even give out 10-20k to noobs i see even if am pretty broke and give them a new set of gear :) because that just how ffxi was for me.

I said a lot it should be in the middle but adding NM that repop every 3-5mins and have a pretty good drop rate is not very fun. they repop faster then the mobs you see everywhere and they don't even have attacks of there own. I hope that the NM we getting now are just to give us something to do and not the real thing we alway going to get for later on.

Btw bled do you remember which interview had the info about the 8man and 4man dungeons?

I played FFXI the same way took me close to 2 years to get to 75. I started FFXI when it first hit shelves got it for my Birthday, and i remember every bit of my time in FFXI and the friends i made. Personally I identify my self and a little biest because i had such a great experience in FFXI.

3-5min cool downs with basically a 100% item drop rate is freaking ridiculous especially when looking at NM's in FFXI which was at one extreme and taking it to the complete opposite extreme. SE needs to find the sweet spot, and ill tell you its not at either end of NM's they have now.

O and no i don't know which interview, I follow the JP forums too and i see so many different postings from Yoshi that without citing them i cant keep track of them. Sadly i haven't cited any information i have found, and it makes re-finding it hard :/

I found a post that was a physical Check List that Yoshi made of all planed changes from when he started; he would check of things on the list that he implemented or fixed... it was a long list lol.

ya refinding interview is a pain, You seem like me in a way :) what server do you play on? But ya i saw the big list i stuff added to the game.

I wonder if there ever going to be other Poll they should make one seeing if players want Jumping and other such stuff.

took me 3 years cuz I rerolled alot... I had an ingame stalker to deal with :/
well no 4 years treasures was out XD i rerolled 40-50 times. (i hate add)
And i had a stalker. every time i would log in he kept asking if i would kick a guy in the nuts. And i mean every time i loged in. Then rerolled cuz my melee rdm hate. Then cuz of a psycho who pretended to be a girl and break me and my b/f up and bullied me on the net. The for the time when I guy i met in game kept flirting with me and his g/f dumped him and got called a home wreaker. XD I'm a nice person and didn't do anything to anyone :3 anyway took me a while cuz i couldn't beat ot as rdm but I beat maat as mnk. I was a good mnk :3 but a better dancer. It was kinda like rdm melee for me plus I was a dancer irl. :3 ballet fyi. Anywat.... since it took me so long to have 1 75, I couldn't really join any endgame linkshells as no one needed me. then i found a dyn Ls which broke after a mnth and similar happening with my sky LS. I ended up getting left out

i pesonaly just don;t wanna get left out of content due to everyone who can do the content is all grouped up. I don't like being on the side lines. Kinda had to deal with it alot growing up. Plus i do gotta watch what I do in game I got a heart abmormality and if my stress level gets to high it can trigger an "episode". So kinda why I just play the games for fun... more fun less stress. Which is why I don;t care for gear as much as that will also make me feel stressed. Fyi i got super ventricular techicardia ( i know tmi a bit but fekt it was worth sharing for more inside info on why I think the way I do)

I just want the game to be fun for anyone, and have a better sub countg then ffxi had. More importently I just want to get to play. sucks owning the thing and not getting to play ><

And once again you getting left out because you not even playing FFXIV by the time this game gets good you be low level but hey at least you have ps3 version players. But its seem the reason you hate FFXI hardcore way is becuase you reroll so many times o.o i wont even do that lol i play ffxi and never reroll in ffxiv this is my 3 time rerolling and i think it be my last time getting my class back up to 40+ is not even fun doing the same leves 50+ times a week lol.

Do you even play this game at release? did you even have a 30+ class? asking again because it seem you never answer me before.
