AFK auto/forced log outs would nearly fix this issue completely. There is no reason why people should be able to stay logged in and afk for days on end. Please implement a system that forces anyone who is AFK to automatically log out of the game after 10-15 minutes of inactivity. If you do that, then more people can log into the game; which means more happy players (because the game is amazing, otherwise), and in turn, more subscribers for SE (aka more money for your company). Win/win situation right there :) Thx!

Please MAKE A QUE! I agree should not matter how long we have to wait... If is said time unknown... At least we know we will be getting in and that we don't have to keep playing the log in game. Pretty basic server/mmo protocol.
I know several people who just leave their computers on and just run their characters into the corner so the don't have to worry about logging in. I really hope that is not what it has come to.

Anything at this point is fine by me. This is already cutting into the 30-day trial that everyone paid for. Not very amused sitting here for 5+ hours watching my script try to log me in to no avail.

You have my vote. Love this game just wanna be able to play it. Also an AFK system so if you are AFK you are booted out of the server. I won't be adding my subscription fee on until they fix this problem.

Same thing
I installed the game this morning, choose the character I had in the beta, and surprise the whole day, 12 hours trying to log in and nothing. Got the full server error. So many people are having the same problem. I'm in on this petition.

There is already a queue.
I was in one before I got in yesterday.
EDIT: In fact, I got one just now: http://i.imgur.com/j6WZdMs.jpg

I would rather wait a hour in a damn Q then shitting here bashing my head into my tower waiting for something to happen

I support this.
I log out each night hoping that they'll fix the problem the next day.
Yesterday I logged in early in the morning with no issue. Logged out because I had to do something... Then I first tried to log back in at 2pm. I did not get on until past 9pm. I did not spend the whole time spamming. So I guess it's my fault it took so long to play, right? But even a minute in front of the computer of pushing 0 is entirely not fun.
This morning I wanted to play before work. 1017's until I left. I still haven't been able to get on. Yet somebody in my house got on their first try an hour ago.
By the time servers open enough for me to play tonight, they'll be about to go down.
If I could sit in queue... I could be in queue while I make dinner. While I eat dinner. While I do classwork. While I clean... So many things I could do while in queue. Queues are a wonderful thing.
But instead, in order to get a chance to play I have to sit in front of the computer mashing a button. And that's still a gamble whether I'll get on or not. I don't enjoy gambling.

Actually after many attempts I did manage to get into the queue at least twice today to enter Hyperion (to those wondering, after much patience I had managed to log into Hyperion succesfully and had no issues in-game, instances worked fine to me and I've experienced no lag) , I guess either the queue feature is so crowded it reached it's own limit, resulting on error 1017, or it is bugged and not working well with the restrictions.

I agree and sign this! I bough the CE for the first release of the game and have played ever since. Why can I not log in after waiting to play for almost a year?!
