OK, since we're listing them.. Not all mine were in XI, but I'd still like to see them in XIV.
~Player/Linkshell Housing
~Linkshell interface improvements (if you need ideas, just look at WoW's guild interface)
~Skillchains and Magic Bursts (and some of the weapon skills from xi.. I still remember the first time I used Rampage)
~Transportation (airship, chocobo, roller blades... ANYTHING)
~Beast tribes, encampments etc (I finally saw a goblin, but still nothing like the beast encampments and stuff in xi)
~Random towns and villages in this huge world
~Winter zone (snow, cold, ice, castles and undead)
~Dungeons/Instances (if you need ideas, just play WoW, they got dungeons and instances right IMO).
~Pet class (ala summoner, beastmaster, dragoon... something with a pet)
~Thief/Rogue class
~Mail System
~Linkshell storage system (again, look at WoW's guild bank system, or Aion's)
I'm sure there is more, but I'm at work and coming up with this list off the top of my head..
Hate referencing other games and XI for suggestions, byt there are some things that they just
got right that are either poorly thought through or missing all together in XIV.

1- CHOCOBO/AIRSHIPS

3- Mail System (i dont want to carry my friends items for days)
4- Search individual person for PT seeking.
5- BCNM,ENM,Assault,ZNM etc.
6- CS to sidequests ! (CS everywhere) Like in Crystal Bearer, once you enter an area/town you get a 10 sec CS that shows you few parts with the name of the map appearing in lower corner.
7- More Job Specipic gear
8- 1HR ability (2HR to long)
9- Small towns (Hamlet) with retainer bell, quests, shops (more life to them)
10- Immersion a la XI
I want to be the Hero, not my NPC, why is it him in most of the CS camera screen time? Why is it him that does all the talking ?

Theres alot of stuff that i wouldnt mind having in FFXVI thats in this forum but please dont add PvP as one of them, to me Final Fantasy is not a PvP game, if i want PvP ill stay with WoW or Aion

I'd love to see the Path Companion system to be expanded and converted into something similar (but better) than the FFXI follower system, as explained in depth in this thread:

Mog House is a must have in my eyes. Having personal space is always a necessary in any rpg.
Party Grinding was tedious but fun.
Chocobo riding may not be very useful in this game but I really want to see something happen with them.
Auto attack feature was best.
